I love this probiotic. I take it daily. I have rebought it countless times. It’s the only probiotic I actually feel working. Worth the money.

I have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and have done everything in my power to calm my immune system (changed diet, rest, stress reduction, hydration etc) … I know my gut health is paramount and have been taking another brand of probiotics for almost a year with no real results, physically or blood test improvements. One week into taking Dr Mercola Complete Probotics and I feel SO much better! Joint pain is less, digestion issues gone, brain fog reduced a ton, fatigue improved.I will say, the first 3-4 days of taking them I had a constant dull to moderate headache and my joint pain and fatigue increased dramatically. I was racking my brain trying to figure out what food or environmental source could have triggered a flare. I did a little research and found out this was a NORMAL reaction to taking EFFECTIVE probiotics … they were doing their job and my body was clearing out toxins that were keeping me unwell.I am going to continue taking one in the AM and one in the PM and will report back after my first bottle is gone and new blood test results come in regarding my inflammation levels and antibodies.

I purchased these complete, and the women’s formula, and alternated using them. I felt that the womens did not make my gut feel as good as the regular complete formula. So I’ll stick with this complete formula. It also took some time to adjust to these. I have taken probiotics regularly for over a decade so it’s not that the probiotics were new to my system. I think most likely what I had to adjust to was the delayed release into my system. The product description says the capsules are harder and release the probiotics into the small intestines. This was probably the initial discomfort I was feeling. I did get used to them after a couple weeks and they do work well to make your bowels more regular.

Product seems to work and be tolerated well. My only issue is that the bottle only had 29 capsules instead of 30. At about $1 each, it would be gray to get all 30.

Wanted to provide some balance to the negative reviews here. I have been on probiotics for about 10 years as a primary tool to manage colitis and gastritis issues. I consider myself somewhat of a “connoinseur” of probiotics. I have tried all kinds and observed the response. They are not all equal. I do rotate them.Mercola’s probiotics are among the better brands I’ve tried. They are currently my probiotic of choice. When I need extremely high potency I go with VSL #3, which is unmatched in cell count per capsule. They are expensive, though, and I reserve those for the most extreme cases (serious flare ups).Mercola’s 35 billion per capsule is a very high cell count, especially for the price. Some folks have complained about the price, but you have to look at the cell count. You do not find this high of a cell count for less than $30 anywhere. In fact, they are usually slightly higher than this. And often, they are only 30 capsules per bottle. This is 60. Considering the cell count and quantity of capsules, this is actually a pretty good deal, which is what caught my attention. Per 1-billion cells, this is a darn good price. I will say that by this metric, VSL #3 is probably the best deal, at 112 billion cells per capsule, with 60 capsules for bottle. Usually runs about $52 dollars. It’s better deal by this metric, but paying $52 for a 2-month supply is more money out-of-pocket. For maintenance, this may be overkill. However, if you have Chron’s disease for Ulcerative Colitis, then VSL may be your best option if you find Mercola’s is not strong enough or you need to take too many capsules for it to be worth it. For most folks, however, Mercola’s is potent enough (and more potent than most others at this price range).I give it 5 stars for effectiveness. It resolved my recent bout of colitis in a few days. I take 1 daily for maintenance, which turns in to $15/month. Not bad. I am currently on antibiotics for another issue and so am taking about 3 a day between doses.I highly recommend this product. Between this and VSL #3, they cover all of my needs.NOTE: I purchased mine locally, so I cannot speak for this particular distributor.

I was really excited about this product because it’s from Dr. Mercola (a health nut) and it has A LOT of probiotic strands. However, I feel as if my old probiotic did a better job even though it had less strands and it the total amount was less. I’m back to feeling more constipated, gassy and bloated. I’m just guessing, but I wonder if it is because my old brand (SunBiotic) was completely plant based and therefore better absorbed. Either way, I’m going back to Sunbiotic after this bottle is done.

I’ve suffered from gastrointestinal issues for years, such as chronic pain, bloating, acid reflux, etc. stemming from Crohn’s disease. When I finally received the diagnosis (it took years and lots of testing), I was put on medications that I had to take multiple times (5-6) per day and had bad side effects. They also had many horrible side effects that could occur from long term use. None of the medications were any type of “cure”, but mostly masking symptoms or keeping them partly under control. This was not how I wanted to live my life, so I started to keep an even stricter whole food diet and added Mercola’s Complete Probiotics to my morning routine. I have now been off of all medication for months now, but my Crohn’s symptoms that I used to deal with on a daily basis have yet to reappear. I have run out of these probiotics and had to wait a few days to order them (I know, I should get auto refill!) and definitely noticed a difference with some bloating and stomach pain that I used to deal with every day, so I know they definitely work. Also, I was hesitant to try probiotics in the first place, because I’d tried many other things that didn’t work and was wary of the cost. I did A LOT of research and Complete Probiotics was definitely the best deal for the amount of pills in the bottle, as well as the amount of strains. These probiotics have really made a positive change in my life and allow me to live a normal lifestyle, despite my autoimmune disease.

I have just started using these probiotics but they seem to be working very good. Much better than the Hyperbiotics PRO-15 that I bought before ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JEKYNZA?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00 ). Infact the Complete Probiotics by Mercola are working as good as the Renew Life – Ultimate Flora Critical Care ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002FK1TQ2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00 ) but they cost much less, which is exactly what I was looking for. I will continue to take these and update my review as needed. I am also going to be trying Nexabiotic ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0050FKPU0/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=PGSUE0OBLM5X&coliid=I2VSC4CCGF9T30&psc=1 ) which have also received good reviews around the net. Remember, the more strains your probiotic has, the better they are likely to work good for you, and the Nexabiotics have 23 different probiotic strains, the most of any probiotic on the market, so I am looking forward to trying them too. As of this writing though I am very happy with how well the Complete Probiotics by Mercola are working. They work as good as my favorite probiotics (Renew Life – Ultimate Flora Critical Care) but they cost much less.UPDATE:Still taking these and they are still working great. Looking forward to trying the Nexabiotics and now a new one by Renew Life – Ultimate Flora which contain a whopping 90 CFU ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KNX8LVY?colid=PGSUE0OBLM5X&coliid=I31I2UM0IBUD0B&psc=1&ref_=wl_it_dp_o_pd_S_ttl ). Really glad there are some good probiotics on the market to buy. My gut flora has never been happier.

I know this will sound ridiculous, but it’s true: these probiotics changed my life. Before taking them I was slogging through every day thinking that this was what it felt like to be old. I was planning on retiring at the end of the school year. I teach primary students and spent too much of the day sitting.I walked slowly, felt tired all the time, and had no desire to do anything. After about four weeks of taking these probiotics I found I was running around the classroom checking on students filled with enthusiasm and energy. At home I started cleaning, organizing, and cooking from scratch. When I stopped to wonder what had changed in my life, I realized the only difference was these probiotics.I initially began taking them on the recommendation of a friend who said it would help my immune system. I’d been sick for six out of the first eight weeks of the school year. I decided on this brand after doing a search for the highest rated probiotics. I’ve been taking them about ten weeks now, and although students, teachers, and administration members are dropping like flies with colds, stomach flu, etc. I remain standing and feeling greatFor years I’d heard about probiotics, but I didn’t think I needed them because I don’t have any stomach issues. I’m grateful to my friend who suggested them and to Dr. Mercola for these miracle worker pills.
