Is Bacha Coffee Halal?
Coffee is one of the world’s most beloved beverages, enjoyed around the clock. Not only can it provide energy and awaken you in no time at all, it can also be an extremely healthy beverage when taken in moderation. Bacha is an Asian brand known for their premium boutique coffee experience – as seen on social media due to their stunning cafes and products! It has gained great popularity with millennials due to their Instagrammable cafes.
Bacha was inspired by the palaces of Marrakech, Morocco. Their cafes feature stunning Moroccan-themed interiors with brass chandeliers for a classy experience. Additionally, their Arabica coffee comes from 35 of the world’s renowned countries for the best possible tasting coffee experience.
Alongside their signature coffees, this brand offers an extensive range of coffee accessories and gift hampers designed to elevate the experience of home coffee brewing. Products available from them include beans from around the globe as well as fine-grained chocolate made in-house – making this brand one of the go-to choices in their market place.
As of 2017, Bacha has expanded to over 70 outlets nationwide and is steadily growing its market presence. Some notable locations for the chain include The Curve at ION, Plaza Singapura and Changkat Bukit Bintang; these three outlets carry over 100 artisanal, hand-selected coffees from 35 of the most acclaimed producing nations such as Brazil, Indonesia, Ethiopia and Kenya.
The restaurant is halal-friendly, meaning they do not serve forbidden ingredients such as pork and beef, although their menu doesn’t list which beverages are halal and you should scan their barcodes to determine their ingredients.
Streats Asian Cafe at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) provides another halal-friendly dining option, serving authentic Chinese fare such as dim sum and satay alongside more Western staples like pasta and sandwiches. Their website even lists their list of halal-friendly food and drinks and their menu!
