Ganoderma lucidum (Ganoderma reishi, lingzhi, elkhorn or reishi) is an ancient Chinese herbal remedy made up of basidiomycete white rot fungi known for promoting health, strengthening physique and increasing vigor while eliminating free radicals to preserve youth and extend lifespan.

Spore powder is a fine powder consisting of microscopic seed pods from Ganoderma lucidum mushrooms. One gram can contain up to 1000 of these spores; they’re covered by a hard protective shell which makes digestion impossible; so they must be cracked open using a special process that doesn’t crush them into unusable pulp.
