On the southwestern shores of Lago de Atitlan, Tz’utujil-speaking Mayan farmers form the Kulaktik cooperative and grow typica, bourbon and red and yellow catuai cultivars at high elevations. Colectivo has worked closely with this co-op for nearly twenty years – creating an earthy yet fruity cup featuring plum, cocoa bean and concord grape notes from Mexico and dark Sumatran origins.
