I love these for cleaning my goldendoodle’s ears. The cotton is tight and doesn’t shred or pull apart. The stick is sturdy and makes it easy to get the gunk out. I’ve also used them for weapons cleaning and they work great to get into the star chamber and around the bolt. Good value for these and I’ll be ordering more of them.

These work well for my cats. They aren’t flimsy and make it easy to clean their ear canal without worrying about hurting them. Regular cotton swabs are way too small and short to clean thoroughly. I always worry about going to deep and hurting them but that isn’t a concern with these as they are wide enough to to prevent the swab from going too far.

The cotton tips on this instrument are huge. Not for small dogs or dogs with small ears. I did however, find a use for them. I am using them for paint touch ups on walls that I am painting. I think also they will come in handy for crafts and possibly for cleaning small areas like in a car.

My doodle fights yeasty ears and I need a good swab to keep the ears clean and fresh smelling. Normal q-tips just don’t work that well. These swabs have so much cotton on them, you get good coverage. They are also nice and cushiony, which has to feel good if your pup is fighting an infection and the ears are tender. I love being able to get these in packs of 100, so they last a while.

I was surprised when I received these swabs to see how large they are. Plenty of cotton here, and if you wanted to do an effective job of cleaning your dogs’ ears, these will work great. Might be a bit too beefy for a tiny dog, but for my Corgi and border collie this size is just right. The cotton also extends down the stick further than a q-tip, so there’s lots of surface area on the cotton as well.The sticks are a good length and made of bamboo — so sturdier than most.I’ll just add that dogs’ ear canals are not shaped like humans’. To do a proper and safe job of cleaning your dogs’ ears, please consult with your vet first.Works well for my dogs – recommended.

I have a giant German Shepherd and cleaning her ears is no fun for either of us. Regular cotton swabs just don’t get in there without me having to hold her ear a certain way and very carefully get the gunk out which she hasn’t allowed me to do for some time now. These are a good length and I can get in there just by holding her ear up and gently getting the gunk, much easier and better than human cotton swabs.

I got these cotton swabs because my Golden retriever is prone to getting ear infections from exposure to wet weather. Using regular, people size swabs was often difficult because they aren’t long enough to get far enough into the ear to remove the excess moisture. Since this was the type my vet used to clean my dogs ears, I figured I’d try them myself. It really made the process so much easier. The stems are sturdy so they don’t bend. The cotton tip is wide enough to be absorbent without being too wide to get where it needs to go. (I’d just like to offer the disclaimer that my vet showed me how to use these swabs, I’m not a vet and not telling anybody how to use them. I suggest you consult your own vet about proper use.) These don’t have to be used just on the ears and work well in anyplace you would normally use a cotton swab. The longer stems make them better than regular cotton swabs, regardless of what body part you use them on. These are worth the price for their overall quality and convenience. That’s why I rate these at 5 stars
