We’ve tried all 3 Reishi products from Mehdi Reishi and find the overall quality exceptional for all 3. We’ve noticed after a few months of daily use that we’ve been getting much more restful sleeping, which has in turn energized us for our challenging and busy lives. Highly recommend this product!

This seems to be the Reishi product I will be using in the future, mainly because it is straight 100% Reishi Spores, not Reishi Spores mixed with Reishi Extract or Reishi Spores mixed with Reishi Powder (though that is an acceptable mix if you want it like that, and the Mehdi does sell Reishi Spores mixed with Reishi Mushrooms). I want 100% Reishi Spores, because the Spores are supposedly dozens of time more potent that the Reishi itself. The Spores are, if I’m correct, the reproductive dust that form on Reishi Mushrooms, that blows away in the wind to latch onto another tree to start a new Reishi Mushroom growing. But in general Reishi is know as one of the most potent and powerful superfoods on the planet. According to the ancient book, “Shinnoh Honzohkyo”, the Japanese name of the ancient Chinese text in which several hundred top health and healing plants and herbs are ranked. Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum) destroyed all competition to take the coveted #1 spot as natures top health and healing herb.But, getting back to Mehdi Reishi, when you read their packaging, they call out other Reishi and Reishi Spores makers who are using fillers in their product. If they are calling it out, there’s more of a chance they are attempting to create a quality product themselves. I consume daily smoothies, and the Mehdi Reishi Spores are in 30 individual little packets, that I add to my daily smoothie, so very convenient for me to take daily. I’ve only been using for a week, and I take in so many superfoods, and because of that, it’s hard to evaluate the specific benefits of the product. What I can tell you, is the morning after I started taking Mehdi Reishi, I got a morning erection (sorry if TMI), I noticed that is something that happens whenever I start taking a quality product, or it happens when I take a couple of months off of one of my standard superfoods like Maca or Black Sesame Seeds. This also happened the last time I started taking Reishi Mushrooms (I actually rote about it in my Amazon review of the other Reshi Spores powder I purchased). The only way I can explain that is the Superfood gives activation to the body’s Qi (pronounced “Chee”) energy, and somehow ignites the body’s energies. I’m kinda all up into this stuff as a self taught nutrition scientist, so it may not make sense to the novice. I know that is a bizarre way to evaluate a product, but when you come in tine with your body, you will feel those types of things.So I’m giving this product a thumbs up after only week of use, I was happy enough with the potential of the product , and “assuming” it is high quality, to email the Mehdi Amazon link to my best friend who is also into superfoods, I told him I thought this is a great product. I’m glad someone finally came out with a 100% Reshi Spores product.

I bought this brand of reishi spores because it was certified organic, it seemed to be processed in a way that would not damage the nutrients, and also because it is presorted into packets for me. I figured this would keep it fresh longer and make it easier to dispense. Well, the packaging is pretty, but it’s not as practical as it could be.The box is about 3x taller than necessary, there is a cardboard platform inside holding up the packets. This is so wasteful, and a little bit deceptive. It looks nice and the packets are easy to get out, so I could overlook this. However there is a much bigger problem with the tiny packets.The packets have notches to make it easier to open, but they are in the least logical spots. They are positioned so you would open it the long way across and rip open the long side, this makes zero sense, we need to open the short side not the long side. Moreover it’s on the wrong end of the long side, the part opposite the heat seal. So when you try to rip it open you’re likely to just get a huge mess, losing this super expensive powder all over the table.I started opening mine with scissors on the short end, which really lowers the convenience and travel value of packets.Taste wise it seems fresh, I don’t detect any really bad tastes or anything like that, the flavor is pleasant enough. I’m not an reishi spore expert, but I take the Fungi Perfecti products as well and this product is clearly different than those in flavor and appearance, which it should be since those are mycelium and not spores. This product is very dark, nearly black, and has a stronger flavor.

I love these reishi spores! I am a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist and this product is high quality.The flavor is very mild and earthy. I love how the spores turn the hot water black. In TCM, foods that are very dark blue and black are good for the kidneys and that makes sense because the spores are the “seed” of the reishi Mushroom, and reproduction is ruled by the kidneys. So, these spores are not only beneficial for your lungs and liver, but your kidneys too! My only issue with the product is the packets the spores come in. It’s very difficult to open and get all the contents of the product out, and I often lose some product in my attempt. Otherwise, excellent reishi spores!

Very difficult to mix up totally. Simply mixing in coffee does not do the trick and dies give off a bigger taste.

I am so happy and pleased with this product. Never before have I tried something like this. After one week, I started sleeping better and having more energy in my daily life. I felt immediately the boost in my immunity system because my allergies all of a sudden stopped bothering me. My cousin bought Reishi mushroom spore from Thailand to try and he gets better from his allergy. So that make me look for the similar product that is sold in US and I found Mehdi Reishi.I did a little research online about the Reishi spore, as an Asian, I know that this mushroom is a traditional medicine and pricy. However, I decided to choose this brand because it is certified organic and the way they grow the mushroom and I think the price is reasonable ,so it is not hard to make a decision for me to try this product.I have allergy. I take allergy pill, wash my nostril and spray the nasal spray EVERYDAY !!! This is the main reason why I want to try this Reishi mushroom spore.It has been almost a week since I take this mushroom and I stop to take the allergy pill but still wash my nostrils and take nasal spray just once a day. I plan to reduce to do those things little by little to see if this mushroom can help.So far, I LOVE this product. My respiratory is better. I don’t have runny nose, sneeze and stuffy nose as much as before. I sleep better because I don’t wake up at the middle of the night because of allergy.I’m really happy with this product, I will keep order it and definately will recommend to anyone I know.Thank you Mehdi Reishi, please keep to do your best.PS. I gave 4 stars to rate it for now because I have used it just almost a week. Let see if it will get 5 stars in the future from me.

The price you pay for this the packaging and delivery is perfection. But only time will tell if the benefits add up to the claims.I mix it with my coffee or put in a bottle of water and it does not change the taste.
