Hot Coffee For a Healthy Baby Girl
Pregnancy brings with it plenty of sacrifices, from giving up delicious Brie to forgoing your morning latte altogether. Does that mean your pregnancy means forgoing this morning treat as well?
While pregnant, you can still enjoy hot coffee – just opt for decaf! A cup of brewed decaf contains 2-5mg of caffeine – much lower than the most widely accepted daily limit for safe caffeine intake during gestation.
Not forgetting, caffeine can also be found in tea, ice cream and chocolate! For maximum safety, stick with smaller sizes such as one shot of espresso at most when ordering coffee – alternatively try switching to herbal brews that are pregnancy-safe!
