How to Add Reishi Mushroom in Your Coffee
Start your day off right by adding some reishi mushrooms into your coffee! They may help reduce stress levels while also improving mood and immunity – ideal if you want an alternative way to start the day!
Reishi (Ganoderma) is a medicinal mushroom renowned for its healing powers. It’s often used to reduce stress, enhance sleep quality, promote energy levels and boost immunity levels – as well as decrease blood pressure, improve circulation and boost metabolism in addition to strengthening immunity systems.
In this article, we’ll outline how you can add Reishi mushroom powder directly into your coffee without additional equipment or hassle. Just use an ordinary percolator or pour over setup – similar to how you brew normal coffee – then simply combine ground coffee and powdered mushrooms (Reishi is most frequently seen here but Cordyceps and Chaga varieties are often featured too!). Reishi may be your preferred variety but other varieties like Cordyceps and Chaga mushrooms might also feature.
When selecting mushroom powder to blend into your coffee, ensure it contains high-quality ingredients such as Real Mushrooms’ mushroom extracts which are made from whole fruiting bodies of mushrooms to maximize nutrition and flavor. This approach is far superior to using premade dietary mushroom packets that typically contain multiple varieties along with fillers like wheat. Not only is this option cheaper and friendlier to the environment!
