McDonald’s Iced Coffee and McCafe drinks offer quick energy fixes with high levels of sugar and fat that could damage your health in the form of quick energy fixes. While these beverages may provide quick energy fixes, many contain harmful levels of both.
There are a few strategies you can employ to make McDonald’s iced coffee a healthier option and stick to your diet. Simply request for lower-cal drinks without milk, sugar syrup, or fat-free whipped topping instead of regular. Or add just a small amount of sugar with Splenda sweetener to reduce its impact.
McCafe beverages with syrups or cream are typically the highest in both calories and sugar content, so for optimal nutrition it’s best to opt for plain options instead.
