Next, prepare it using pour-over or another method of brewing; bring water to boiling, allow it to stand and cool before pouring out into a filter paper holder in your pour-over for optimal pour-over coffee temperature (195-205 degrees Fahrenheit), grind your coffee-mushroom mixture to medium consistency before placing the grounds into your filter paper filter holder in your pour-over brewing; slowly pour water onto grounds in series for optimal flavor and to avoid over-brewing.

Another popular variation combines instant coffee with milk and reishi mushroom extract, then stir well before topping with either whipped cream or cocoa powder for an enjoyable beverage.
