How to Preserve Magic Mushroom Tea
If you love magic mushrooms, imagine being able to enjoy an indulgent beverage that also provides health-supportive components – like cordyceps and lion’s mane! Brewing them into tea is one of the easiest and most delicious ways to consume these incredible superfoods! Of all of their many forms of consumption, brewing into tea may be more comfortable on your digestive system and can reduce nausea caused by other methods; plus it allows more health-enhancing components found within them!
Starting the process of mushroom tea requires selecting your desired quantity of mushrooms. After choosing how many you’d like, crush them up using either a mortar and pestle or your hands so as to increase the surface area for absorption more rapidly – this step is essential as it impacts how soon you experience effects from psilocybin (the active ingredient found in magic mushrooms).
Place the crushed mushrooms onto a sheet of cardboard or towel and spread them out evenly. Allow the mushrooms to dry for several days while checking regularly – once the mushrooms become wrinkled and rubbery in texture they are finished! You may wish to speed up this process by placing them near a fan.
Once mushrooms have been completely dried, they should be stored in an airtight, dark container out of direct sunlight or heat. As time passes and some potency diminishes over time, consuming soon after drying is advised.
When ready to create magical shroom tea, combine your desired amount of powder in hot water and stir well. Allow this brew to steep for fifteen minutes (it may taste bitter at first, but will gradually improve), strain the liquid out to remove any leftover powder, and sweeten as desired with honey or another natural sweetener such as Stevia (if desired).
Mushroom tea is often preferred by individuals who are sensitive to the fibers and chitinous material present in mushrooms, which may irritate their digestive system and lead to nausea. Furthermore, mushroom tea offers more convenience than other means of consumption such as lemon tek or grinding the mushrooms into powder; it can be combined with any type of herbal tea available on the market.
There are various varieties of mushroom tea to suit every mood or desired effect, ranging from entheogen-rich blends to relaxing herbal infusions for stress relief. You can even customize it further with other medicinal herbs like ashwagandha or reishi for customized mushroom infusions that suit any season or event!
