Is Chai Tea Healthier Than Coffee?
Chai tea is an irresistibly aromatic blend of tea, spices and milk that indulges the senses while offering numerous health advantages. Chai is said to stimulate fat burning in the body while aiding digestion and improving heart health.

Turmeric is also well known for reducing arthritis symptoms by inhibiting inflammatory compounds; in addition, studies have also found it increases absorption of important nutrients like calcium and vitamin D in the body.
Though chai contains many healthful properties, certain versions contain too much sugar for it to be considered healthy. Excess sugar intake can lead to weight gain, digestive issues and increased heart rates – all potentially dangerous health concerns. Diabetes patients, for whom added sugar consumption must be monitored closely, could see their blood sugar levels skyrocket as a result of overeating added sugars. Therefore, it is crucial that when selecting a version of chai that contains natural sweeteners like stevia or another natural sweetener or ask for reduced amounts at cafes or commercial chai drinks, such as less sugar. You could also opt for lower fat plant-based milks which will still provide delicious taste and benefits like their full fat counterparts.
