Dunkin Donuts’ Original Blend coffee uses 100% arabica beans decaffeinated using Swiss Water Process for decaffeination – an efficient natural method that preserves full flavor profiles of these beans. Although organic ingredients aren’t found within their coffee beans, Dunkin Donuts does offer an organic decaf variety which uses this natural method and 100% arabica beans in order to keep flavor profiles at their full potential.
Dunkin Donuts coffee typically boasts medium acidity levels that make it attractive to consumers across a range of backgrounds. This low acidity level is caused by using different beans for their brewing method and using less water in each batch brewed. Some customers have reported finding Dunkin Donuts’ coffee too acidic or sour tasting, possibly due to how their cup was created or due to being more sensitive than usual to acidity levels.
