Furthermore, tea has anti-inflammatory effects that help lower risk for coronary artery disease while providing a source of iron. Unfortunately though, those who drink excessive tea may lose this mineral due to tannins present in its leaves that inhibit absorption.
No matter if it be tea or coffee, it is essential to adhere to recommended serving sizes in order to prevent an excess caffeine consumption.
