Purpose
Organo Gold was established in 2008 with a dedication to creating high-grade wellness products of premium grade quality, from coffee and tea with Ganoderma to nutritional supplements, smoothies, and skin care. Their new Essentials soap showcases this perfectly by using nature’s gifts to nourish skin while supporting its appearance in order to promote overall health.
BeU Essentials soap contains ingredients like glutathione, grape seed oil and organic Ganoderma lucidum (also known as red Reishi mushroom) to promote skin health. Additionally, its unique formula cleanses and moisturizes for soft, fresh-feeling skin – leaving behind no chemicals, parabens or sodium lauryl sulfate residues behind.
Reishi mushroom is an effective antioxidant supplement that may help combat premature aging, oxidative stress and inflammation. Additionally, it may fight free radical damage while improving skin health – including signs of aging reduction as well as healthier hair, nails and joints. Experts caution against taking too much Reishi, so always consult your healthcare provider prior to trying any supplement or drug regimen.
Studies have suggested that Reishi may reduce cancer risks and boost immune system functioning; however, there is no proof that it can treat or cure any illness or disease. Herbalists refer to Reishi as an adaptogen; meaning it helps the body cope with various kinds of stressors.
Organo Gold operates as a multi-level marketer, meaning independent representatives can earn income both by selling products from the company and recruiting others as distributors. Critics have accused this business model of evoking pyramid schemes; however, the company strongly denies this claim. Additionally, it belongs to the Direct Selling Association which promotes positive relations within its industry; nevertheless it has experienced several consumer complaints. In one instance, the Federal Trade Commission accused a company of making misleading product claims and mislead consumers. Although they denied these accusations, their products remain under investigation and sanctions may apply should any violations of federal consumer protection laws occur.
Precautions
Cold-processed soap requires more time and patience, yet offers gradual saponification for enhanced skin compatibility and nourishment. This creates soap that is more skin-friendly.

Warnings
Organo Gold was launched in 2008 to sell coffee and personal care products infused with Ganoderma lucidum reishi mushrooms for health benefits. According to their own claims, they are one of the fastest-growing network marketing companies with operations in 32 countries worldwide and sales estimated by Direct Selling News at around $170 Million per year. Their website describes these “supernatural” mushrooms as being consumed for millennia by Asian cultures for health benefits – however NYU Langone Medical Center reports no research backing up those claims.
The company has also come under scrutiny over allegations that it operates like a pyramid scheme, in which independent distributors profit by both selling the products and recruiting others as distributors. They deny these accusations but have taken measures to limit growth and discourage such behavior.
ORGANO provides its Independent Distribution Partners with access to limited information regarding other Independent Distribution Partners for interaction among them; however, any use of this data without express consent from its user would be illegal.
ORGANO was sued by Jennifer McCallister alleging it misled her about its products’ purported health benefits and operated a pyramid scheme from which she lost thousands. A court dismissed the suit in October; however, ORGANO remains committed to investigating allegations of misconduct by McCallister and other employees; Consumerist has requested comment from ORGANO; it had taken steps previously to address such behavior by dismissing multiple people involved.
