Description
Reishi mushroom is one of the most famous herbs used in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Taoist Tonic Herbalism. Reishi contains a great number of bioactive molecules- there is no one single compound within this mushroom that can be singled out as the main active compound. The two most interesting classes of compounds within Reishi are the immune-modulating beta-glucan polysaccharides and the adaptogenic triterpenes.
This is a 50/50 mix of a dual extract of the reishi fruiting body and cracked cell reishi spore powder. At the end of the growing season, the mushrooms release millions of spores (think of these like the pollen or seed of the mushroom world). These spores are collected and undergo high-pressure processing to crack the shell wall, which would otherwise be impenetrable to our digestion, thus giving us access to the nutrients and exotic compounds inside. The spores contain the essential nutrients of reishi and the highest levels of active compounds such as beta-glucans and triterpenes, making them even more potent than the fruiting body in many ways.

I’m not kidding. This reishi mushroom is the best superherb powder I’ve ever used in my life.I have anxiety, it’s 2020, I was working 5 jobs – the first time I took reishi, it was the best day of my 2020. I was so calm, I was able to get so much work done. I didn’t feel my stress spike. It was amazing! (I took more than the recommended dose maybe closer to a tsp).But now I’ve been taking the rec dose 1/4 tsp one to two times a day in my coffee or tea. Overall it’s literally changed me to become more cool, calm, collected. It’s a little bit bitter but not too much, so it pairs perfectly with my coffee, a chocolate smoothie, or my teecino tea, which tastes kinda like coffee. Seriously this stuff is amazing and it’s allll natural!!! So much better than Adderall or whatever medicine my doctors have had me try (I’ve hated them all – too crazy side effects) Reishi has no side effects – other than it might make me tired if it’s before bed, which is great because I’m never tired before bed. I’m always wound up. Anyway – Reishi saved my life. 2020 sucks. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk!

I am a big fan of Reishi but always have a hard time finding a quality product that actually has the spores until I found this. This is not a cheap product and it it’s only a small sized packet, but the powder is very dark and concentrated. It mixes great in my hot teas and coffees and actually makes them taste better. The effect I get is a very calm grounded feeling and I also feel it’s helping my immune system. I only need 1/4-1/2 a teaspoon to get the effects I desire so it’s lasting me a while before I run out. I will definitely keep buying this product and recommend it if you want a quality Reishi product.
