Very lemony, these chewable Iron tabs absorb quickly. My body keeps more of it, according to my endocrinologist.

great product

I’ve tried so many formulas and this one, recommended to me by an ENT, is the only one my body will tolerate and process.

Becaucse of the bariatric surgery, I have to crush or chew all my pills including the over-the-counter iron. The OTC iron taste horrible so I tried these because they are chewable. I don’t think they actually taste like passion fruit but it is still pleasant. Also, they are iron fumarate which is the version that my doctors says is the best at being absorbed. My only issue is that the dose of iron in each pill is rather low. I have been taking two of these per day but my doctor has said that I am still low and to double what is being taken. That means that I have to take 4 each day which is a bottle plus some every month. I have decided to do one crushed of the OTC and 2 of these each day.

I have never been able to take iron without really bad side effects. As a result I have a chronic problem with low iron and fatigue. I have been able to take this product with no stomach problems. I’m looking into buying more of there products.
Tammie Luebbers –
Taste decent. Easy to chew

I was a bit alarmed when I noticed my tongue looked black, but according to Google, that can happen with iron supplements. I also feel ‘icky’ after taking it. It’s a weird, heavy in the pit of my stomach feeling, with a hint of nausea, so I tend not to take this vitamin. It’s a manageable size and a decent flavor.
carol petersen –
Great taste and only need 1 a day

I’ve bought these twice, as they were really a good alternative to regular constipating iron, which also upset my stomach. These do not cause either problem, but I wanted to warn everyone that they cant be transferred to a different container – for example, a daily pill planner. The iron tabs became moist, disintegrated and smeared. I lost the other pills in the planner because I wouldn’t take the iron-covered calcium and my capsules also began to get soft because of the iron disintegration. It wasn’t a fluke- for some reason, I kept doing it because pill planners are easy for me to remember all of my pills. The planners were kept in my nightstand drawer, not anywhere near a moisture source.Just an FYI.

Expensive, otherwise flavorful and nutritious
