8% olive squalaneSqualene is unfamiliar, but it exists in our skin. The amount of squalene produced and retained in the skin gradually decreases over time. Squalane prevents moisture loss and protects the skin from harmful environments. It is quickly absorbed without clogging pores and softens dead skin cells. |
Liposomal glycerin, Plant ceramideOrganic glycerin with Plant ceramides encapsulated with liposome technology that help absorption to the stratum corneum supply moisture and help restore damaged skin barriers. |
Alpha BisabololDerived from the candeia tree, pure alpha-bisabolol 0.5% does a lot of things. It soothes irritated skin and inhibits melanin synthesis to help keep skin bright and clear. *KFDA registered Brightening functional cosmetic E cacy-Effect: Helps Brighten skin. |
How to Use
For your skin, less is better.
Apply a moderate amount daily and gently smooth over face, neck, and other dry areas.
Dry weather If you have extra dry skin,
apply more moisturizer instead of using multiple products. With less irritation, your skin will recover faster.
If you have oily, breakout-prone skin,
Apply a small amount and spread it thinly. When the skin barrier is weakened, the skin produces more sebum.

Molly –
My skin is a weird mix of oily with dry spots, or was before I switched my moisturizer to this. No more embarrassing dry spots, yay! It takes barely any, doesn’t irritate or smell like anything. Please never stop making this. I will ugly cry.

Love! A little goes a long way if applied on a damp face.

This is an unscented moisturizing cream. Truly zero scent. It works pretty well as a face cream, better for me in the milder weather when I am not fighting cold and low humidity. I’ve been using it more as a hand cream since it isn’t quite enough for my dry facial skin. No complaints, probably best for normal or combination skin.

Olivarrier Comfort Barrier Cream 1.69 fl. oz.I have super dry and sensitive skin and this feels wonderful. It is very soothing and supplies a good deal of moisture so that my skin feels wonderful. I really don’t detect any scent.I am using a pea-sized amount twice a day. It works well with my other skincare and foundation. No weird pilling or stickiness once it sinks in. This contains some ingredients that are wonderful for dry skin that works really well for me.This package comes safety sealed with a foil tab on the tube and the expiration date is 7.23. It should be used within 12 months of opening. It comes in a basic gray plastic tube with a white flip top lid and contains 50 ml. Not oily at all. Seems to hydrate very well and doesn’t aggravate any of the spots on my face that are more sensitive.

I used this as my morning moisturizer for about a week and while it is a good moisturizer nothing really stood out about it. I didn’t have any reaction to it and my skin was soft and moisturized after applying but I feel there’s so many other products that do that some at a cheaper price. I also felt like I had to use more cream than I do with similar products so in my case using the amount of cream I like to apply I’d run out of this faster than some similar products I’ve tried. Overall it’s a good moisturizer there’s nothing wrong with it but I don’t really see the value or anything innovative about it. It is cruelty free and isn’t tested on animals so if that matters to you you might be willing to pay a little more for your values so if you want to get this then buy It it’s a good cream and there’s nothing concerning about it it just doesn’t stand out in a very competitive market.

This is an effective barrier cream for my dry, dehydrated skin. I’m still dealing with the after-effects of winter, trying to get rid of my rough skin and dry patches, and this cream does seem to help. This isn’t quite a thick and heavy as I expected it to be, which is a good thing for right now. I’m right in the middle of trying to choose new skin care products for warmer weather now that I don’t need the rich ones I use all winter. This goes on smoothly and takes a few minutes to be absorbed, but doesn’t leave an oily residue or stickiness finish on my skin. It is hydrating and also seems to help my skin hold onto existing moisture and it also does a good job of replenishing lipids so it targets both of my main issues (dehydration & dryness). I also have sensitive skin that tends to become red and irritated very easily and this causes no problems. It feels nice on my face and leaves it feeling softer and quite smooth. It intended to use it only at night, but it is not too rich to use in the daytime. I like it and the current price of $22.80 seems reasonable for a tube containing 1.69 ounces. The product arrived boxed and sealed.

In the winter, my skin gets super dry from all the heaters running indoors. And in the summer, my skin gets abused by the daily showers I’m taking because it’s so hot and sultry outside. So this product sounded great. And it certainly feels that way. Here’s what I love: just as the vendor says, it has no fragrance or scent. And that’s rare in cosmetics – so often the manufacturer splits the hair that they don’t “add fragrance” but there’s a “natural scent” which triggers a migraine for migraine sufferers. So I’m pleased there really is no smell to this. And it feels wonderful on my skin, which was very robust until I hit age 55, at which point it started getting a bit crepe-ish and rebellious against everything I had done to it in the past. This really makes my skin feel good, and seems to add tone. And I like that the product was shipped with a foil closure on the tube, in a recyclable box. I like that their ingredients are on the product, in compliance with the FDA. I don’t like that the packaging is super hard to read – I feel like I’m trying to decipher code, but at least I can, with a bright light and a magnifying glass, figure out what’s there. But, I really don’t like that I can’t find the name of the company, Olivarrier, in the programs they have noted on their Amazon listing as achievements for their product. They use an outdated Peta logo, and are not listed by Peta as a program participant. They are not on the Cericlean list. They’re not listed as a Cosmos-certified cosmetic. They are not on Dermatest’s Reference List as holding a seal of approval. CUK certifies agricultural operations, so they would certify ingredient source operations, not the cosmetic outcome. Regardless, all the certification programs helpfully keep a list of the companies who are authorized to use their logo online, and in spite of displaying these logos, Olivarrier is not included.Unless the company is in process with certification – my batch was HO290, Exp 2023 – or uses another name than “Olivarrier” to do business – which does happen – or misspelled their company name here on Amazon – which also can happen – the logos are being used inappropriately. Since there are multiple databases involved, and I’ve seen this happen before, I’m leaning towards doubting the company’s credibility. This makes me doubt the credibility of the product and its ingredients, so I won’t be using it any longer.

I typically have pretty fry skin and it’s always worse in the winter months. I try to keep my skin as hydrated as possible and this did seem to help. I still used my serum with it but I think it has helped with dryness, particularly on my forehead. I have used other products that work just as well but I wanted to try something new. I have been using it a few weeks and have noticed a difference. For the price though I think I will continue to use my regular product.

Day oneGoes on pretty creamy but it absorbs much more quickly than I thought it would. A little goes a long way. It does feel hydrating. As long as this doesn’t cause a breakout, I would definitely use again, perhaps as a morning cream since it doesn’t leave an oily layer behind like my current oil does. When I was putting it on I was pleased there was no smell, but afterword I could smell something very light in my hands.. that doesn’t really smell good or really bad. But there does seem to be a very very slight smell. Only if my hand is pretty much on my nose. So if you’re sensitive to smell (I am VERY sensitive to smell obviously) this is a good option for you.Second day updateMy cheeks tend to be pink, which I feel like is from dehydration. After first time use I felt like my cheeks were less pink. I paired with a lighter coat of my normal squalane on day 2 and did feel less oily and more hydrated. So far so good. By day 3 I should be able to confirm if this breaks me out, but I think I can typically feel that coming on by day 2 if it’s from a product so I feel good about it so far. I’ll update my review if this ends up breaking me out. But so far, I think this is a great basic option for a facial moisturizer especially for sensitive dehydrated/dry skin.
