For those of you looking for a caprylic acid/butyrate supplement, this product is a great choice. I’ve used it for years and will continue to do so. Be forewarned, though, that Amazon’s current description of what is in the product is inaccurate. These things change periodically, depending on who the actual seller is. Check the close-up on the ingredients list before purchasing if you’re concerned.

There are many wonderful benefits this supplement has to offer, but the one that brought me the most happiness is that after taking it for a couple of months I was able to eat lemons and grapefruit again without suffering intense stomach pains! I love both fruits but eating them was out of the question when my stomach was in such bad shape. I took four per day during those months. The healing was undeniable and lasting. I order both from the D’Adamo website and Amazon. About the same price both places.

Helps with SIBO & SIFO – but to get good results, I empty the contents into vegan delayed-release capsules so it becomes active in my small intestine instead of being absorbed in my stomach. I get better results hacking them this way, but maybe the manufacturer will be kind enough to put them in delayed release capsules someday.
