I have suffered with on and off depression and extreme anxiety for most of my life. For years I was on and off prescribed medications for these conditioners, often to no avail and others put my mind in such a state, that I stopped taking prescription medications. Doctors often ignore patient’s past history or medications they may be currently taking when they prescribe medications that are contradictory to others. That was my experience many times as prescription anxiety medications contradicted other medications, and so on. I often had hallucinations because of it!I was presently taking a 5htp supplement as a natural source to help with mood elevation and the general lethargy that I was feeling. Although I think that medication helped, I went researching for a natural product that could help with both the depression and anxiety. I read all of the positive reviews on this Dr. Emil product, so I had to try it as one of the reviewers said.Well, yesterday was the first day I took two of the supplements as prescribed on the bottle.Approximately 1 hour after taking them,I started to have this racing feeling and my heart was beating very fast. I wasn’t sure if it was the supplement as I had already taken my other vitamins and didn’t know if there was some kind of reaction happening. So, I decided to ride it out but I had to leave the house for an errand. I left the house feeling ” jittery “ but thought that it would wear off. By the time I reached my destination, I was covered in perspiration, my heart was racing and I almost felt like I was going to pass out! Thankfully, I was with someone who helped me to a chair and sat with me while I calmed down. I cannot say how much I appreciated his help and attention to me and that time as it was a very scary feeling…So, today, I decided to give it another try alone, without taking any other vitamins. Within about 30 minutes the same thing started happening! My heart started racing and I felt kind of lightheaded!I just sat down and took in some deep breaths in an attempt to slow down my heartbeat and calm myself. Not a good experience at all!Needless to say, I will not be taking this supplement again, ever! I won’t give it a third try!I don’t know what it contains that gives me that feeling, but given my strong reaction to it,I felt compelled to let other possible users know about my experience. So many of the reviews are very positive, but it’s that one person in bunch who may be particularly sensitive to it’s content.So bottom line, do your research carefully before trying this product; it may be right for you or you may have a similar experience. It’s up to you!I’m giving the product “0” stars, but I had to pick 1 to move on with the review.

This product is really very good! I had problems to sleep, but now I really enjoy my sleep nights. I can feel more active, good mood. Its work, I can feel diference in my last few days, after started use.

We feel very confident about the quality of this product. We go to a Naturepath and in muscle testing gave full approval of this being a great product for our needs. We happened to have another brand of 5-HPT we had her test at the same time and that one had negative effects.

I have tried many different things to try and get better sleep and this is helping a lot. I usually fall asleep okay and sleep soundly but I have been waking up around 4:00AM lately and having a hard time getting back to sleep. I’ve felt like a zombie now for months. I started taking these 4 days ago just before I go to bed. Now I sleep soundly until about 6:00AM and feel good during the day. I have not had that tired, zombie feeling and I feel more focused, relaxed and rested. Thank goodness!
