i got a blue mixture in a blue container. didnt realize it until i opened it. anyway, super sweet. didnt really feel any effects.

Oh, if only…….this didn’t have so many carbs per serving.I didn’t check the “supplement facts” label before ordering this; it just sounded really good.So; 9 grams of carbs per serving.A serving is one scoop.The directions on the canister suggest mixing this with 8 – 10 ounces of (water) or….Here’s what I did:I took a NOT shaker bottle with a 20 ounce capacity, poured 8 ounces of cold water in it and poured one scoop of this over the water; capped the bottle and shook it.After 10 seconds shaking the bottle, there were “bits” floating around.I shook the bottle for an additional 20 seconds and the “bits” got a little better behaved.Really though, if you mix a portion of this up and don’t drink it pronto, there will be product settling at the bottom of whatever you made this in; to me, a bottle that can be capped is the best choice, so that you can give it a shake before each sip.For me and many Keto or Carb type people, 9 grams of carbs is about a third of a whole days allowance; way too high for me.Misses Shops too much will get the benefit of this drink as that’s not a concern for her.The taste…There are so many interesting ingredients in this that you would think would cause the flavor to take a left turn, but to me, I just got a pleasant, mildly citrus flavor.I perceive the level of sweetness to be around a 4 on a scale of 10; same for the intensity of flavor itself.If carbs were not a concern, I’d be on this stuff like white on rice.I’ve given this an overall 4 star rating based on *perceived* quality of ingredients with the exception of maltodextrin.The glycemic index (GI) in maltodextrin is higher than in table sugar.This means that it can cause a spike in blood sugar.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Updating from 4 to 5 stars! My first review is below, but I continued to use the product faithfully each night and I have to say that I am sleeping more soundly than I have in years! Plus the digestion benefits are working too. It is fairly expensive, but I am going to order a second container! I think the pros far outweigh the cons.I have been using the product for about a week and it does help me to go to sleep faster and stay asleep longer. The taste is unique but not unpleasant. It has an orange citrus taste but you can also taste the ginger, turmeric and cinnamon. For me the pros are the ingredients for sleep and digestion. The cons are that it is not easy to mix, it is a bit too pricey and it contains maltodextrin. I don’t know how much, but this ingredient can have some unpleasant side effects in some people. It has properties that are NOT good for digestion which is one of the main things this product is trying to help. I personally have not had any adverse effects but I will update as I use the product. It is manufactured in the US.

I have used several other Force Factor products and have always found them to be of high caliber and quality; this relaxation beverage is no exception…it is very tasty (think popular orange drink of the astronauts, but natural and healthy), and is also efficient at providing a calming prelude to a restful night. It’s loaded with a roster of impactful, organic ingredients: Coconut, Cinnamon, Ginger, Turmeric, Acai, Chaga, Lemon Balm, and Turkey Tail Mushroom Powders. It contains 250mg of Magnesium Citrate, which is beneficial for a good sleep.The problem I have with this powder, is that I simply cannot get it to dissolve completely; there are always a few bubbles which contain undissolved powder that surface to the top of the drink. (If the manufacturer could intervene, to let me know how I could prepare this drink properly so that it will dissolve completely, I will revise my review.) Other than this, Force Factor Organics Golds superfood supplement is very effective.

I use ginger and turmeric as dietary supplements on a daily basis, so I am always looking for new ways to add them into my daily routine. Powders are always a convenient way to take the supplements with me on the go. Force Factor Gold has high quality ingredients and tastes great all on its own. It does not mix easily in cold water so I recommend shaking or stirring before each sip. For me it is worth the extra work because finding a supplement with so many of my favorite daily ingredients and that tastes this good is rare. It low in calories and has become a part of my nightly routine to help smooth me out and relax before winding down to bedtime. I will most likely order this again and continue to enjoy the flavor and benefits.

Surprisingly, the flavor works. The turmeric isn’t too peppery or spicy. It mixes well with the (what I consider) Tang-like orange juice flavor. The drink TASTES fine.I would normally minus one star for each issue but I have to minus 2 stars for the fact it does not stir well. Don’t expect to throw this in “any beverage of your choice” like the directions say. And don’t expect you’ll easily stir it with a straw, it took me 10 minutes.Expect that you’ll be getting a blender out or a mixing bottle, or a whisk. For this simple reason I would not continue buying it. That’s why it’s a minus two stars. If you don’t mind the mixing then I recommend.

This product is delightful! I absolutely love the taste, which reminds me of a grown up Tang. Bright citrus, with ginger notes. I taste the turmeric and the dehydrated coconut water, but I don’t noticeably taste the other ingredients. (This can be a good thing when considering mushrooms!) I love the choice of ingredients in this blend: coconut water for hydration and electrolytes, cinnamon helps blood sugar and warms the system, ginger is great for digestion and enhances the anti-inflammatory and other health benefits of turmeric, turkey tail mushroom is also good for digestion, lemon balm is calming, chaga and acai berry are great for the immune system. Among other health benefits, including many anti-cancer properties. Turmeric is also great for blood sugar, etc. I love that this product is completely organic, and I love that it can be used hot or cold. It would help absorption to take this in milk instead of water, as eating/drinking fat with this also increases absorption of turmeric.Two things to note: first, this is best mixed in one of those electric mixing bottles, as with greens powder. Powders just seem to do better in them. A blender could work as well. Also, there is stevia in this product, BUT this does NOT have the strong stevia taste that I detect in other supplements. So, this is very tasty even for those who do not like stevia.4 stars instead of 5: the cost. It’s an awesome supplement but expensive. I could see this being added to my nightly rotation, but at $50, or $1.67 per serving, it’s high for my taste. It’s a darn good product, though, and I really enjoy my “Tang” before bed. I hope the price comes down in the future. Recommended!

Compared to most of the other powders I have experience with using, this is fairly unique. The combination of ingredients in this particular blend are usually not found together. Usually the mushroom blends stick together as a separate product but they have added these alongside of coconut, cinnamon, ginger and a few other things typically not found alongside of them, which I think is pretty genius, actually. I have been using this for a little over 2 weeks now. I make this in the evening about 2 hours before going to bed after I have done my evening workout. It does not keep me up or make me jittery. In fact, I feel like this helps to calm my anxiety a little and get me in more of the proper frame of mind for unwinding before bedtime. I have heard a few people say that this taste like Tang but in my opinion it tastes more like some kind of lemonade. It isn’t extremely strong tasting but it does have a little bit of sweetness to it. I do, however, wish it were a tad bit sweeter. In my own personal preference, I like a more bold tasting drink so instead of adding the recommended 8 to 10 oz of water per scoop I only add 6 oz. It gives it more flavor.Also, I do have to say that I agree with some of the other reviewers who have mentioned that this stuff doesn’t blend in very easily. I like to add this to warm water, which helps to dissipate the clumps a little better. It tastes kind of like a lemon tea when prepared this way. Very soothing.

I have taken this stuff at night the last few nights and, before I get to the powder itself, I have to say that this stuff works. I have slept like a champion every night I have taken this. I feel refreshed in the morning. My sleep tracker confirms my feelings as I have had an “excellent” sleep rating all three nights. I really wasn’t expecting that. I will also add that I am very pleased with what is happening with digestion. Without getting too into the weeds, let’s just say that I have been more regular in a good way since starting.The powder itself is where things come off the rails a bit. I love the organic ingredients here and lack of added sugar. The taste is a mild citrus flavor which, while not great, certainly isn’t bad. However, the powder really doesn’t want to blend. 8oz of water is not enough for sure. I recommend doubling the water to 16oz. Shake it up really well, let it sit for 5 minutes, and then shake it up again. Should be good to go. Take 30 minutes before bed.Overall, I really like this stuff. Let me get through the jug and I will update. Recommending at this point for anyone that can use help with antioxidants, rest, and digestion.
