FUELED BY 2 FQ AMINO ACIDS, THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF LIFE
AMINO ACID F = DL-PHENYLALANINE
An essential (only comes from outside food) amino acid of tremendous nutritional importance and a known nutritional precursor to the neurotransmitters dopamine, norepinephrine (noradrenaline), epinephrine (adrenaline) and involved in the release of PEA (phenylethylamine) which can sensitize endorphin receptors to endorphins. These neurotransmitters strongly support warm feelings of love, pleasure, happiness, alertness, energy, motivation, memory, attention, internal calmness, and sleep.*
AMINO ACID Q = L-GLUTAMINE
A conditional (only sometimes produced by the body) amino acid and a major precursor for the neurotransmitter GABA (Gamma Amino Butyric Acid). This crucial amino acid helps the mind relax and “tone down” unwanted “mind chatter” which can sharpen a person’s ability to focus and concentrate with more clarity.*
NOURISHED BY 10 VITAMINS
VITAMIN A: Vitamin A is a powerful antioxidant that also helps support normal immune function, normal vision and cognitive health.*
VITAMIN E: Vitamin E is a major fat-soluble antioxidant that is particularly important for supporting cellular health by neutralizing free radicals produced during normal metabolic processes. Yet, over 75% of the population does not get enough Vitamin E from foods alone.*
THIAMIN: Thiamin is necessary for glucose metabolism and for the role it plays in multiple body functions. Even mild deficiency is linked to memory loss, confusion, irritability, and sleep problems.*
RIBOFLAVIN: Vitamin B2 helps break down proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, turning them into energy that fuels your body. It also helps preserve DNA and gene structure, and plays a role in glutathione synthesis.*
BIOTIN: Biotin is an essential vitamin – meaning that your body needs this micronutrient to function correctly. It is vital for DNA structure and healthy gene activity.*
NOURISHED BY 10 VITAMINS
NIACIN: The brain needs Vitamin B3 – as source of the coenzymes NADP and NAD – to produce energy and function properly. Vitamin B3 deficiency can lead to memory loss, mental disorders, aggression and mood issues.*
VITAMIN B6: Vitamin B6 promotes relaxation and a healthy mood. It also aids the conversion of potentially damaging homocysteine into useful antioxidants, supporting heart health. It plays an integral role in hemoglobin formation and immune function.*
FOLATE: Research has shown that low blood folate levels are associated with poor brain function. Folate also assists with the formation of healthy red blood cells and promotes heart health.*
VITAMIN B12: Studies show that over 90% of the people following a strict vegan diet have Vitamin B12 deficiency. Higher levels of vitamin B12 are linked to better mood, behavior, and mental clarity.*
PANTOTHENIC ACID: Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) deficiency, although rare, is linked to impaired mental performance.*
SUSTAINED BY 5 MINERALS
CALCIUM: Calcium is an essential mineral that supports multiple systems throughout the body. You need to maintain adequate calcium levels for your heart, nervous system, and muscles to function correctly.*
IRON: Apart from playing an essential role in red blood cell formation, iron carries oxygen to the muscles and brain and is vital for both mental and physical performance.*
MAGNESIUM: Magnesium is the 4th most abundant mineral in the body, involved in over 300 metabolic reactions essential for human health. Adequate levels of magnesium have a calming effect on the brain.*
ZINC: Zinc is involved in over 100 biochemical reactions in the body. This mineral is essential for cell growth and division, immune function, DNA synthesis, and protein production. There are no body stores of zinc, so daily intake is required to prevent deficiency.*
CHROMIUM: Chromium is an essential trace mineral the body needs to stay healthy. Research suggests that chromium polynicotinate may help improve mood.*

What does “cGMP Compliant” stand for?GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is a system for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. It is designed to minimize the risks involved in any pharmaceutical production that cannot be eliminated through testing the finished product. Our products are all manufactured in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified facilities, using the highest quality standards. Each one of our product lots is subjected to microbiological analysis, but, more importantly, we conduct third-party testing to verify all the results. |
What does “Free of 8 Major Allergens” stand for?FDA FALCPA (Food Allergen Labeling And Consumer Protection Act) identifies eight foods or food groups as the major food allergens. They are milk, eggs, fish, Crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soybeans. Of course, there are more than 160 foods that have been identified to cause food allergies in sensitive individuals. However, the eight major food allergens identified by FALCPA account for over 90 percent of all documented food allergies in the U.S. and represent the foods most likely to result in severe or life-threatening reactions. |
Are your products blended and packaged in the USA?Our products are blended and packaged in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the USA, registered with the FDA and operating in compliance with Pharmaceutical GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), and the latest, most stringent dietary supplement health safety regulations. Thus, you can rest assured that every supplement bottle you purchase from us is safe and accurately labeled. Ingredients are carefully researched, sourced and selected from around the world. We strongly believe that good value means a safe, quality product that you can trust—not just the cheapest brand. |
What does “Mg Stearate Free” stand for?Magnesium stearate acts as a lubricant to prevent tablet and capsule contents from sticking to the machinery that processes them, ensuring that production machinery operates at maximum speeds and profit targets are met. It is far more costly and time-intensive to produce supplements without magnesium stearate. More importantly, magnesium stearate increases the time it takes for tablets and capsules to dissolve due to the film it forms on ingredients. Magnesium stearate coats a good portion of the molecules in a tablet or capsule, requiring digestive enzymes to break down that coating before accessing the nutrients it envelops, which may affect individuals with impaired digestion. |

E. M. Mitchell –
I’m 49 years old and I’ve been suffering from depression on and off for the last 2 years. In addition, lately I’ve been having memory problems and just feeling my mind was very foggy. Also I’ve been studying the piano for the last 4 1/2 years and I noticed that I was having more and more problems learning pieces. I’ve taken multi-vitamins before but either they seen to offer little benefit or they make me irritable. I do take a B vitamin supplement which seems to help with energy and with my mood but it didn’t do anything for my focus and memory. I started looking online for supplements that would help with these issues but I wanted to stay away from anything that seemed risky or unproven. I came across HCF on several websites and it was always ranked in the top ten. The ingredients seemed along the line of what I was already taking- the B vitamins and the explanation of how the product worked made sense and didn’t seem risky. I’ve been taking HCF for two weeks and it has changed my life. The first day I took it- literally within an hour I noticed a difference. After a few days the change in how I felt and the clarity of my mind was undeniable. Not only is my mind clearer and my energy levels higher but I feel more positive, relaxed and motivated. My piano study has also shown significant improvement. Pieces seem to easier to learn and I am sight reading much faster. I’ve only written a few reviews for a products even though I’ve spent thousands on Amazon but I am so impressed and happy with the results of this product I just want to share what it has done for me in case others might benefit. I don’t know that it will work for everyone but it has certainly helped me. Also, I’m very sensitive to supplements and medication so I’ve only been taking one each morning rather than three. One day when I was feeling extremely sluggish because I hadn’t slept well, I took a second one which really helped me get focused and energized for the remainder of the day. HCF came with some literature explaining how the product worked which I really appreciated and which helped me understand the product better. If I continue to have the positive results I’ve experienced in the last two weeks then I imagine I will be a life long customer. Great product!Update: I’ve been on HCF for a couple of months now and I can’t believe the difference it has made. I can play piano longer with greater focus; I don’t get those energy crashes in the middle of the day anymore; and overall I just feel more motivated. I take it religiously now. I’m still only taking one a day which seems to work fine for me. If I’m feeling like I’m starting to get a little foggy or down then I sometimes take a second one during the middle of the day. Again I don’t know that it would work for everyone but for me it has been a miracle!

I ordered HCF after reading about its benefits in aiding with discontinuing antidepressants. I’ve been really happy with the results this far. I’ve started a taper off from a SSNRI medication that I’ve been taking for about 6 years and the withdrawals can be extremely nasty. I feel that HCF has helped me GREATLY with withdrawals. I feel, well… Happy, Calm & Focused. Something thing that I haven’t felt in YEARS!My family and co-workers can attest to the improvement in my mood since starting HCF at the beginning of April 2016. Over the past few years I’ve struggled with awful moods, none of which were nice. There were days that I was literally afraid that I may actually hurt someone from the rage that I was experiencing. Then the next minute I was beyond sad. It was everything I could do to get through a day without crawling into a hole and crying. When I realized that it was the medication that I was taking causing me to be so unbearably miserable, I told my doctor that I wanted to stop the medicine. His response was to just stop taking it! BIG NO NO! The withdrawals from these medicines WILL cause you to go insane if not something a million times worse! Especially if trying to stop cold turkey! After I researched for weeks on how to get off the meds without ending up in prison or dead, I came across a post where others had used HCF to decrease the withdrawal symptoms and thought what could it hurt? I’m nothing less than amazed and SO glad that I gave this supplement a try!I still have a ways to go with getting off of the antidepressants completely and I am confidant that HCF will help with my progress. I would recommend this product to anyone trying to live a better, happier life. The results aren’t immediate and you may not be the first to notice the difference in your improved mood, but when you do, you will be amazed! I haven’t felt this good since before I ever started taking the antidepressants back in 2000! I’ll admit that the price is high and that is the ONLY draw back that I have on this supplement, but it is worth the price as it works for me.

UPDATE: I am still amazed with this product AND my doctor has approved my use of this in place of Adderall! *** I am not stating this course of action is advised for everyone, please discuss with your own doctor ***My doctor did urge me to get back on my anti-anxiety meds, because HCF does not increase seratonin and he said the side effects of discontinuation are very unpleasant after a few days… I have to admit I did not start that back up as I was not feeling anxiety or any unpleasant side effects from stopping the anti-anxiety medication – it’s been almost 3 weeks. I realized that I suffered from anxiety because of the symptoms of my ADHD… Adderall was helping some but actually increased my anxiety levels. With HCF, I am getting the focus I need and staying calm through it all. I have gotten SO much done, and in fact we are in the process of trying to buy a home and sell our current home at the same time. It’s enough to make any normal functioning person go coo-koo, but the HCF has made a huge difference.Right now my mind is distracted and so much going on but I know that once we’re moved and settled I’ll be able to focus even better than ever! My sleep was a little odd at first, not so much the sleep itself but my dreams were darker, I’m guessing the lack of anti-anxiety and seratonin…. after about 3-4 days my dreams started to feel normal again.I can wake up on weekend mornings now and get things done. I organized a ton of my belongings in one weekend whereas before HCF it was an ongoing struggle and years have passed without being able to complete any organization projects! I am not feeling any physical side effects. Also, with the Adderall, on days I didn’t take it, I was in a zombie-like state especially on weekends. 2 weekends ago I went 3 days without HCF and functioned normally, still able to figure out what I needed to do and remain calm.I’d have to say my only complaint is that it costs way more than my prescription with insurance, and that I have to take 3 pills at a time (once daily). I wish the pills were smaller and that 3 wasn’t required, but this is so minor, the results more than make up for it!I have combined ADHD and have been taking Adderall for about 18 months. Unfortunately I also have been diagnosed with anxiety and mild depression so I was also taking an anti-anxiety medication, which I recently learned can cause the Adderall to have a stronger effect. The ‘stronger effect’ I was feeling was more in the area of even higher anxiety and a block of time each day I would feel overly happy and have more hyper activity in my brain, not so much increased focus or productivity. I needed to keep taking it to counteract the increased anxiety that is caused by the Adderall. If not taken, I would worry more and have racing thoughts, racing heart rate, etc.I have good health insurance so the total cost of my meds for me is average $70 per YEAR. This supplement costs $40 per month. Huge difference in cost, however, sometimes it’s worth it when it comes to your health. Of course I don’t want to end up overdosing on seratonin (or at least feelings that are associated with it) so to try this supplement out I have not taken either my Adderall or anti-anxiety medication for a few days while using HCF.It’s only been 2-3 days but I have noticed a huge difference. I am feeling exactly how I think I should be… calmer and more focused. Too soon to tell about the happy part but I have noticed even troublesome events at work this week did not seem to have as much of a negative impact on my thought processes and emotional well being as before. I can sit for hours and stay focused and driven to be productive and I’m finding myself less distracted and less unnerved by irritating elements of my tasks. Today I was actually working on something very boring and tedious and I got through it without the usual emotional stress and needing to stop to do something interesting. Actually just the thought of getting it done and over with was interesting enough to power through! The Adderall does help me with work productivity, however, I still find myself day dreaming, very unorganized and messy, and mentally hyper that has it’s good points and bad. I still agonize and procrastinate over little things like making a phone call or just taking care of a small thing that wouldn’t be any issue for people without this disorder. I also still have a terrible time making decisions, and trying to organize things at home is a painful and very slow process. At work it’s a little different, I can quickly decide what to do with papers and files, it’s just finding the time to actually do it that is challenging. This weekend I will be finding out how the HCF affects my ability to take on organizing projects, etc. With the HCF at work, I find myself taking care of things without giving it much thought, and much less irritation and frustration when I come across an issue that could have potentially set off an ADHD meltdown, even when on Adderall. With the Adderall, if I didn’t take it by 11am, I couldn’t take it for the day because it stays in the system 12 hours and I wouldn’t be able to sleep. Then with the anti-anxiety, I would sleep too much (even if taken in the morning). I could easily sleep 12-15 hours a day on weekends which isn’t fun when there are things I want to do. Although the directions for HCF say to take in morning, I have taken it as late as 1pm and it doesn’t effect my ability to sleep at a decent time, I actually find myself more tired in the evening which is a good way to motivate me to get to bed at a normal time.I am planning to continue to take it without my other meds for the duration of the month’s supply and will update when it’s done. I need to talk to my doctor about using this in place of the meds, and I am interested to see if this is more helpful in the long term. The idea of being on those prescription meds for the rest of my life is daunting and if HCF helps me do what I need to do and feel better overall, I’d rather take a supplement even if it costs a lot more.I am testing out the results of this supplement vs. prescription meds for ADHD and anxiety, and will discuss with my doctor. I do not recommend anyone replace their prescriptions without discussing with their doctor. I do not know if this will be a good alternative in the long run but so far I am very pleased with the results and hope to make a decision with my doctor that will be better for my health.

I am an experienced kitchen chef, who lately has come under quite a bit of ‘on the job’ stresses. The problem is basically this; I am spread way too thin these days. I have, as of the last year, had problems with many things such as memory, mood and proper diet. My wife recently voiced her concerns to me and this is when I began my quest for some type of aid or supplement that could maybe help me with some of things that I was experiencing problems with.As said, I believe it was due to the fact I was under so many stresses, a new constant in my life, where as before, it was here and there. I work at a very busy restaurant and over the course of the last 3 years we have been whittled down to a skeleton crew. My job carries more responsibility and tasks on a daily basis than it ever did before. I have to remember this and remember that.Being stretched so thin began to wear on my faculties and mood. Again, my basic problems were mood and memory, accompanied by improper diet and rest.I did some initial research and found an herbal supplement that seemed to work for a short while, but then didn’t at all after that. With that experience under my belt, I was very wary to make another purchase of any kind as these supplements which are quite often very expensive.Due to the fact that my work wasn’t going to get any easier anytime soon, I did focus a bit more on rest and proper diet, but still kept my mind open for something that could maybe help me out a bit more in my current situation at work and at home. With my improved diet, I did notice some changes in my mood and energy levels, but I was still having some trouble with attention and memory.I have been taking it now for just over a week and I notice enormous changes in my calmness and mood. My focus is much better and my sleep has improved the feeling of calmness, that’s what I’ve really noticed right off the bat.

My 13-year-old son has ADD, OCD, Asperger’s, Anxiety and Sensory Integration Disorder. We have tried many things, including medications, you help with his focus problems. Nothing has helped. I heard about HCF through a teacher of a friend’s son. She (the teacher) was taking HCF and swears by it. I looked at the ingredients which appear to be good, EXCEPT for the Folic Acid. I was very disappointed to see that. Folic acid (synthetic version of folate) is now known to have detrimental health effects, especially in those with MTHFR variants/mutations (which it now estimated affects almost 50% of the U.S. population). I know about this because I have a variant of this gene, which inhibits my ability to convert folic acid to folate (the form my body can use). Folic acid competes with folate for positions on the cell receptors and bogs down the cell’s ability to absorb the bioavailable folate. Having said all of this, HCF does seem to have had a positive effect on my son. His teachers report better focus (initially). And he reported feeling “happy” after the first dose. That effect seems to have worn off, so I think we would have to increase the dose to get the effect we’re wanting. However, I can’t, in good conscience, continue to give my son something containing folic acid (the full daily recommended amount in one dose), knowing how the body handles it and how it blocks the body’s ability to absorb folate and actually builds up in the body (because they body has difficulty processing folic acid, regardless of whether or not someone has an MTHFR variant). If this company decides to make a version of this product with Methylfolate (5 MTHF), I would DEFINITELY buy it again. I think at that point, it will be a WONDERFUL product that everyone could take (including those with MTHFR variants/mutations). As it stands, I’m stuck with a tough decision – have my son continue taking this product for the focus benefit, knowing the detrimental effect of folic acid, or go back to the way things were from the lack of focus standpoint. I will be researching other products to find something comparable without folic acid.

My cousin recommended this to me after he had success with treatment of his ADD. I told him I was suffering from some mild depression and anxiety on and off for years. He recommended this product, and I have to say I was a little skeptical about this. My depression was worsening to the point it was getting hard to find enough motivation to even do my job. It was miserable. Desperate, I was about to call the doctor for prescription for antidepressant/anxiety. I really didn’t want to face the possible side effects but I knew I couldn’t keep struggling. I decided to give HCF a try, pretty convinced it wouldn’t work but didn’t think trying it would hurt. One last effort before meds. Oh. My. Goodness. I’m a dietitian so I’m very leary about supplements since the industry isn’t regulated, but this has changed my life. I could feel something immediately after taking the first pill, like a heightened sense of awareness from coffee but without the buzz. I only got this feeling the one time and then another time after I hadn’t taken it for a couple days when I had the stomach flu (which during this time I could feel myself getting anxious again in just 3 days without it). I’m 5’5, 136# and take just 1 a day. I might start taking another in the afternoon just to see if it helps any, as I usually have seasonal depression. The one in the morning would probably suffice though. There’s no way this is a placebo effect because I know I have clinical depression and that is a chemical imbalance that only something effective could help. I would seriously recommended this product to anyone. I notice that I have more control over my moods. I feel the feelings I’m having, but it’s easier to address them and calm down in order to redirect to a positive attitude. It has seriously given me my life back. Its going to be bad news if they stop making it!

I have ADHD and minor depression. I often drive myself crazy trying to remember a thought I just had, not to mention misplacing my keys or wallet often. My mind goes in loops trying to remember the thought I just forgot . Plus I’ve been unemployed going on 5 months, after having lost my entire life savings last year. I’m not depressed, but I do have periods of melancholy. My faith in God is what keeps my head above water. Anyways, I’ve been taking Neuro-Peak by Zhou Nutrition for 3 years now, 2 pills a day. It really helps with my misplaced thoughts without any side effects. I’ve experimented by stopping doses for a few days and no side effects. I just go back to misplaced and hazy thoughts. Well I decided to try this based on reviews and thought it could help my mood. Unfortunately it didn’t and I even had suicidal thoughts while on this. I did stop taking my Neuro-Peak pills while switching to this. Anyways, the first few days on this, I had unwarranted anxiety (which didn’t help going into a job interview). I finally adjusted, but there were some days I felt very depressed, even suicidal. After about 3 weeks, I knew this wasn’t for me and so I stopped. Unfortunately the withdrawal caused me severe insomnia. Not sure what’s in this stuff, but be careful. I’ve since went back to Neuro-Peak and things are ok now. This is just my experience with HCF. Perhaps yours will be better…

I had always been recognized as an intelligent person who could do almost everything I tried, and I would happily try nearly anything that wasn’t wrong or foolishly dangerous. Although my job was based mostly on my knowledge, I also especially enjoyed making things with my hands away from work. Then, in my mid-fifties, I began forgetting the names of things including items I was very familiar with. As I aged further, I found myself forgetting how to do tasks on the computer and had difficulty negotiating the file system. If I went to the store without a list, I’d feel panicky as I walked around unable to remember what I came for, then return home without many of those items. Some places I knew well began to seem slightly unfamiliar to me, and I had to pause and get my bearings in order to negotiate them. Sometimes I would lose my train of thought in the middle of speaking and not be able to recall what I wanted to say. At that point I felt other people beginning to notice that I might be “losing it.” My forgetfulness terrified me because my mother had Alzheimer’s, and I was much younger than she was when she began to have indications of it in her mid-eighties.I read about HCF on the Internet, hesitated for a while about ordering it, but finally decided to do so. It took a while to see results, and I even stopped taking it for ten days when I was slightly nauseated from a powerful antibiotic, but within a month or so I began to notice improvements. Names of things came to me more easily, and familiar places no longer seemed as strange. Recently I went to buy groceries and left my list at home. At first I thought I would have to return home for the list, but then decided to try shopping without it. When I later checked the list at home, I found that I had purchased every item on it. Just yesterday I needed to save a document on the computer, easily found the location where it should be saved, and also figured out an easier way to save similar documents in the future. I’m not quite back to where I was at first, but I hope for further sharpening of my mind as I continue to take HCF. Oh — and I have also regained my happy outlook and even lost a few pounds (before I experienced the antibiotic-generated nausea). A few years ago I had succeeded in losing over 60 pounds but recently started gaining some of it back. I hadn’t noticed before that HCF was said to help with weight loss. I feel that HCF is named well: It helps with happiness, calmness, and focus.

After using the product for about a week (3 pills/day first thing in morning) I can say I noticed a subtle calm effect and I did begin to feel like I was more focused. The calm effect I noticed actually when commuting to and from work. I found that I was getting less upset by people’s actions on the road. If someone cut me off I did not fly off the handle and get stressed out like I used to. I also found that I was much more friendly towards strangers, which normally I would not make eye contact and not speak. Maybe it was a coincidence but seemed that I was not sleeping well while on this. Waking up frequently, hot and cold. After I stopped taking it this has not happened. Again, it might be a coincidence, due to my age and hormones. After taking for 2 weeks I felt like the calm and focused effects were subsiding. I probably needed to up my dosage. My problem with upping the dosage is, I have a hard time swallowing 3 pills first thing in the morning with a full glass of water and waiting 30 minutes. I am a first thing a.m. coffee drinker and it’s very hard to down a glass of water and then have my coffee on top of that. Upping my dose to more than 3 pills I do not feel I would be able to do, unless I could split the dose. I think the price is not something I am willing to pay taking this much and going through it in less than a month. I did not give a 5-star rating due to the price and the quantity I would need to take, not being a good pill taker. I can say that I did notice a difference with this supplement so I am certain it works but for me I would only continue taking it if I could remain on a 3/day dose and the price was lower. For some I am sure the lower dose would continue work. Everyone’s tolerance level is different.

I have been giving this to my son for almost a year now. He is diagnosed with high functioning Autism and has anxiety issues. In school he use to get frustrated very quickly when he thought his work looked hard or didn’t understand the full instructions. He would shut down and it was nearly impossible to talk him down and get him back on track. Since taking HCF he is less frustrated, does not shut down like he used to and can be talked through his frustrations. This has enabled him to be better at asking for help when he does not understand what to do next. He also seems to be able to listen better when we are talking him through whatever is making him frustrated. Before there was no talking to him while he was frustrated. He use to get so frustrated he would scream, cry and yell. Since taking HCF he is much more calm and can focus more on what he is suppose to do. It isn’t a cure all but it helps make our day less up and down.I started taking HCF with my son because I wanted to see first hand what it was like. When I take it , I notice that my emotions are more balanced.I asked my husband to take HCF to help with his stress. I have noticed when he takes it, he is less frustrated, seems less stressed and calmer. All in all there is less frustrated yelling in our house. We take 3 tablets a day. My 9yo started out on 2/day and when I noticed that it was not helping as much I upped it to 3/day. My husband and I take 3/day.I use to have this on auto ship from HCF but found a better deal here on Amazon for 3 bottles and could get 2 days shipping free with my prime. I hope that they bring back the deals they had for multiple bottles. The hardest thing to swallow about these pills is the price when you talk about 3 people taking them everyday.
