Muscle Feast Chocolate Micellar Casein Protein powder is my favorite micellar casein powder, and it’s also my favorite protein powder for mixing in to make stuff like pudding. It’s sweetened with stevia, a natural sweetener rather than an artificial sweetener, and the chocolate covers up the stevia taste. The milk for this powder is from grass-fed cows, which is better for the cows and better for the users of this powder, as well.I found whey protein isolate didn’t work well when it came to making protein pudding and protein bars, but it turns out that with a little experimenting, this stuff is great for making those and also high protein treats like protein brownies and protein cookies, which didn’t turn out well using whey protein isolate powder. I also find that this protein powder is much easier to mix into liquids than their chocolate whey protein isolate.Overall I’m super happy with this product in every way.

this casein is awesome. It tastes great(the chocolate is better than the vanilla with this brand), it’s thick and it’s 19g protein in just 88 calories. 2 years ago I dropped to my lowest weight in 15 years while POWERLIFTING(which is kind of an oxymoron), and I noticed the more consistent I was with drinking 20 to 35g before bed, the better my fat loss progress was. I just started drinking it again a month ago and dropped 3lbs of fat again. It really works because your muscles use that protein for healing and building and your metabolism stays active breaking it down in your sleep. Obviously you need a consistent diet and workout regimen as well. But the casein kept me from plateauing

Clumps together on the whisk, in the drinking glass, and during measuring.I only bought this brand because my subscription of Native Fuel Micellar Casein became unavailable in 4-pound package. A premium casein is spray-dried or somehow made spoon-mixable. Casein is naturally hydrophobic. So casein needs to be processed properly, or a blender and cleanup is needed. My process:measure micellar casein into a mixing cupadd other dry ingredientsstir to combine dry ingredientsbegin stirring coffee with electric whisk / frothersprinkle dry mix into coffeecontinue frothing until completely mixedWith Native Fuel or Levels, this process works. The countertop and stirring whisk are clean. The beverage is clump-free.

I have tried the plain casein and chocolate casein. Hands down chocolate! I love having my “chocolate milk” right before bed time. The chocolate flavor mixes easily, I literally use a fork, however the plain casein doesnt, I had to shake my cup for a long time to disolve and even then I would still find some chunks. The unflavored one is kind of gross but what else can you expect with no flavor added. I am sold on the chocolate version which is the one I will continue to order. Also, I lift heavy and this drink has lowered my soreness!

This is a really solid product, no B.S. fillers or “natural flavors” in it. Just the Casein, Cocoa powder, the sunflower lecithin is used as an emulsifier (to allow the powder to mix), and stevia to sweeten. I would say the taste isn’t the greatest, and is a bit grainy. I drink this at night post-workout, and its really great with some milk, frozen banana and peanut butter to sweeten it up and makes it less grainy. Definitely want to use a blender with this though, I don’t think it will mix very well without it.

Great taste and it mixes well

I’m a Muscle Feast fan. I picked this up because I suspect I might be having some difficulty digesting whey concentrate, but wanted a slow burning protein. I like to consume food that has a short list of ingredients, so why should my protein supplementation be any different? The taste is great and mixes really easy. The consistency is like a fine powder but that’s the way it should be. I drink it once in the morning and at bedtime.I will be back for a larger tub.

Re: Micellar Casein, Chocolate. Way too sweet. Too much Stevia. So much so that I wouldn’t order this again. Leaves a long lasting, annoyingly sweet, aftertaste in your mouth.Glad I only bought the 2 pd bottle to try it out.Although It did mix well. Typical Casein chalky texture. Digested well for me.

Didn’t really like the taste a little chalky and didn’t mix as well as I’d like

It’s the same great casein you’d expect from Muscle Feast, warts and all. The texture isn’t plesant and it foams, but that’s true of any casein. It’s also one of the few pure Micellars on the market that isn’t cut with fillers or caseinate, meaning you’re getting 100% slow release protein (yes there’s some soy lectin in there, but that’s necessary to stop it from clumping; EVERY powder has this). The reason it lost a star is because of the taste. I didn’t expect it to be delicious, but this stuff is almost as bad as their unflavored casein. Just buy the unflavored and put in some Mio or something, rather than thinking that this is going to be any more palatable.
