Never tried kashmiri saffron till now, and it’s almost startling in how sweeter it’s flavor is. It tastes like a combination of honey and raisins, snd it’s aroma is sweet and grassy. Great to bloom and cook with, or use it as an occasional wellness supplement like some people do. Personally, I would love to make some saffron cake with this due to the strands overtly sweet overtones. But I like it, no complaints. Just a little tricky to use because it’s sweeter.
