Starbucks Mushroom Tea Cup
Starbucks recently unveiled an adorable mushroom-patterned reusable cup, available only for a limited time.
Mushroom coffees contain functional mushrooms such as chaga, lion’s mane cordyceps and wild rhodiola root; these have been proven to improve energy, cognitive function and long/short term memory retention.
Kale and mushroom egg bites offer an ideal meal choice. Packed with protein yet low in calories, this meal helps stabilize blood sugars while decreasing caloric intake – an effective strategy to curb overeating.
Coffee
Coffee, a naturally-occurring stimulant, was likely first discovered in Ethiopia by a goat herder observing that his animals became lively after eating fruit from a coffee shrub. While earlier research raised concerns of possible links between coffee consumption and bladder and pancreatic cancers, these concerns have since been debunked by better designed studies; however, according to WHO advice drinking extremely hot coffee (above 149deg C) increases your risk for esophageal cancer.
Coffee contains compounds with prebiotic properties that feed the beneficial gut bacteria living within our digestive systems and help regulate our immune response and nutritional status. Furthermore, research suggests that coffee may improve concentration and mood at less-than-ideal times of the day and is particularly useful when studying for exams.
Juices
Juices can provide essential vitamins and minerals that may not be included in your daily diet, providing antioxidants that can boost mood, energy levels and cognitive decline prevention. Furthermore, juice can reduce wrinkles while improving skin elasticity as well as providing vital nutrients that may lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
Avoid juices containing added sugars and concentrates in favor of drinking whole fruits and vegetables which will provide your body with fiber needed for feeling satisfied, in addition to helping burn more calories. If using juices, ensure they contain 100% fruit and vegetable ingredients.
Fresh juices can provide a good source of soluble fiber to help manage blood sugar levels and improve digestive health, as well as provide vitamins, minerals and enzymes that support gut bacteria for proper function and metabolism enhancement. They may even prevent constipation while encouraging regular bowel movement.
Juice can offer many health advantages beyond digestion, including strengthening your immune system and providing you with energy boosts. They’re an excellent source of natural sugars and Vitamin C for an instant burst of energy boost – plus they may also lower blood pressure and alleviate inflammation!
Many people enjoy adding greens such as kale and spinach to their juices in order to increase iron and beta-carotene intake, helping improve skin elasticity, prevent heart disease and save money by creating homemade juices from fruits and vegetables that might otherwise go to waste. Furthermore, homemade juices allow users to save money over bottled juice by using fruits and vegetables that would otherwise go untouched.
Smoothies are thick beverages composed of whole food blends that provide essential nutrition. Juices on the other hand tend to be water-based beverages. Juice can contain more sugar than smoothies, making them less filling; but still provide a healthy alternative to sodas and other sugar-sweetened drinks.
Teas
Tea is an incredible beverage to provide comfort and wellness throughout the year, no matter the season. Starbucks carries an array of flavored and herbal teas that can help relax or revitalize you – this Halloween-themed mushroom mug and tumbler from Starbucks makes an excellent way to sip Black Mushroom or Vanilla Chamomile tea during this holiday season!
The TEAS exam features many different kinds of questions, including multi select and ordered response questions. When responding to multi select questions, all the correct options from a list must be selected; while for ordered response questions it’s essential that you know parts of speech and spelling rules as these will determine how well you do in completing them successfully.
Refreshers
Refreshers is Starbucks’ new line of fruity beverages made to order using only natural sweeteners like stevia and sugar for sweetening and caffeinated with green coffee extract (which would otherwise become waste or require refining and sale), over ice and with water, sugar and white grape juice concentrate as key ingredients.
If you love tea, this mug may just be the ideal vessel! The charming mushroom design features an attractive lid with red horns and spots which not only keeps heat within your cup but also acts as a strainer.
