Black coffee is also packed with minerals like potassium, magnesium, niacin and sodium that provide important health benefits, including reduced liver damage risk and cirrhosis risk, detoxification in the liver and reduced cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
While black coffee offers numerous health advantages, too much can cause dependency and withdrawal symptoms as well as imbalanced blood pressure or an increased heart rate. Therefore, it’s wise to limit yourself to the recommended serving size of black coffee. Furthermore, avoid adding too much milk as this could inhibit calcium absorption which could result in osteoporosis; and do not consume flavored varieties which contain unhealthy additives which could have adverse health consequences.
