where did organic coffee originate

Coffee has long been a global commodity, revered for its energy-boosting properties and used on long trips to keep travellers awake. Coffee also boasts numerous health benefits ranging from weight loss and reduced risk of heart disease to Alzheimer’s Disease and reduced fibromyalgia symptoms.

Nectar of Life strives to bring our consumers only the highest-quality coffees. In order to achieve this goal, we only roast Certified Organic coffees. Certified organic beans have been grown on land that has not been exposed to any synthetic chemicals for three years prior. This allows the soil to develop natural defense mechanisms against chemicals while protecting both farmers and the environment from potential harm caused by synthetic chemicals.

Organic farming is not easy, requiring both time and resources. Coffee farmers must invest in healthy soil conditions as well as their coffee trees’ care, while paying higher premium prices for their organically produced coffee. Many small scale farmers cannot afford the transition because organic cultivation takes more effort, money and time – thus decreasing production rates.

Organic coffee production on a large scale can still deliver excellent quality, provided a dedicated group of producers dedicate the extra time and money necessary to do it right. Furthermore, farmers are beginning to recognize the advantages of cultivating their coffee organically as more customers opt for this variety, thus raising its price and improving wages for producers.

Kenyan coffee has recently experienced an upsurge in popularity due to the country’s small-farm cultivation methods and use of organic pesticides, though due to Roya some use of targeted fungicides may occur for certain products. These practices also help create an eco-system where birds flourish.

Conclusion: Organic coffee industry still has much ground to cover. There is considerable interest, yet some obstacles must first be removed. We need dedicated producers who are willing to put in extra work while patiently waiting for results and roasters who will pay premium prices for superior coffee quality – with these elements in place, we can hope for deliciously healthy and sustainable coffee in the near future! Thank you for being part of this industry and supporting its advancement!
