Their coffee has its own distinct flavor profile; Two Sisters’ owner claims she samples over 200 roasts annually searching for the ideal one. If seasonal blends are unavailable to you, try their Colombia Tolima roast; it starts citrusy before transitioning smoothly into cocoa flavors at the finish.
Kuma Coffee Roaster can be found at various local coffee shops. Named for owner Peter Mark’s shaggy dog, Kuma began tinkering with coffee roasting in his Kirkland garage before expanding with seasonal selections sold online and delivered nationwide – including Columbia Tolima which features smooth fruit notes with an appealing mouth feel, as well as their limited edition Seven Sumatra roast containing organic and shade-grown beans.
This specialty roaster with an environmental mission partners with local nonprofits to save orcas and pays all its employees equally – including its owner!
