Some blends are advertised to contain no caffeine, yet each serving still contains trace amounts that could potentially cause jitteriness and anxiety for some individuals. Furthermore, mushroom extract or powder consumption could interact with certain medications that you may be taking for other medical issues or are currently treating for.
Overall, it is best to limit your mushroom coffee intake and focus on increasing consumption of mushrooms through various food sources. Mushrooms offer many of the same advantages as this coffee blend when it comes to energy increases, stress relief and fighting bloat. Simply incorporate mushrooms into a salad or smoothie for more affordable health benefits, or find mushroom coffee options available at major stores. For optimal flavor and texture, for best results you should grind your own beans or purchase pre-ground from a coffee shop. That way, you can ensure it remains fresh without any contaminants or added flavors; ground coffee tends to go rancid quickly so storing in an airtight container out of direct sunlight may help extend its shelf life.
