Organic certification can be seen as a good indicator of sustainable business practices and agriculture, though it doesn’t affect the taste of coffee itself. All it ensures is that beans weren’t decaffeinated using solvents such as methylene chloride or ethyl acetate – however these chemicals will still be removed during roasting anyway.
