Product Description

If you live in Canada or a border state, chances are good that you have experienced Tim Hortons at least once. As one of Canada and America’s premier coffee/doughnut chains, Tim Hortons dominates carry-out coffee markets alike and can even be found serving Canadian troops deployed abroad in Kandahar, Afghanistan!

Tim Hortons earned a subpar ethical rating from The Good Shopping Guide because the company does not sell organic or Fair Trade coffee, nor disclose where their green beans originate from. Tim Hortons does, however, participate in a sustainable coffee partnership program with farmers which includes projects with over 750 Guatemalan and Chiquimulan farmers near Honduran borders as well as 200 producers in northern Huila in Colombia.

Foundation Camps provide youth with leadership development. On Camp Day each year, 100 per cent of proceeds from hot and cold coffee sales are donated directly to charity.
