Jarrow is a very good brand. Quercetin is very useful in allergy season in Spring. It reduces the histamine reaction of your body to allergens. It also boosts your energy. Don’t take at bedtime!Excellent product, and very useful for my seasonal allergies.

I really like this brand.

The quercetin capsule is not small but it can be easily twisted open – I mixed the powder in my mouth with a little warm water, then chase it down more water – the taste is fairly neutral. I had delayed trying Jarrow Formulas Quercetin to test for nausea, but recently I woke up with some cold symptoms: Since quercetin is reputed to be capable of assisting the movement of zinc into cells to reduce viral replication, I took it with a crushed zinc tablet as well. Not sure if the protocol could be this efficacious, but later that day I realized I had forgotten how I awoke with cold signs, and no side effects like nausea. Very glad to have it in my collection of immunity protection!

jarrow is a good company in my experience, i’m sure this quercetin is quality and that it’s just me. the capsule is of average size of youre used to supplements, and it doesn’t taste bad or give and weird tasting burps or anything. if you open the capsule, caution that the powder stains. i knocked one star off not because of the product itself but because it seems as though it was not stored in ideal conditions—the powder in the capsules is clumped up which happens when exposed to heat/humidity. a common issue i have when ordering supplements from amazon.i took large doses of quercetin for many years with absolutely no side effects to help with mast cell activation syndrome, reproductive inflammation, and all the other things this stuff is good for. it was very helpful, particularly for mcas and terrible periods (pcos + endo), and i was pleasantly surprised that it helped my migraines too! however, i eventually had to stop taking quercetin because my gastroparesis drastically worsened over time and made everything sit in my stomach for 20+ hours which really does NOT go over well with literally anything, but especially quercetin in particular for me apparently. i got this to try to reintroduce it for the umpteenth time and had the same issue again. hopefully someday my gp improves and i can benefit from quercetin again.i haven’t been able to find anyone else who has this reaction. plenty of others with gastroparesis (and myself before my gp worsened so much) have no issues with it, and for people whose gp/other digestive issues are caused or aggravated by mast cell disease quercetin can in theory help gi issues instead of causing them (it used to help like that for me, but mcas is far from the only contributor to my gp so i got worse anyway). many people with mast cell disease report tolerating it better if they start with smaller doses and slowly titrate up. it’s worth a try and i still recommend it to my loved ones with allergies, debilitating periods, mast cell disease, and other inflammatory shenanigans, and my dad swears it helps his diverticulitis and crohns/uc (he has mcas too).everyone is unique and i’m not a doctor, this is just my experience and that of others.

I first purchased these in 2016 out of desperation really. I had chronic sinus coming back every 6 months and awful headaches due to it lasting for a month, coming back daily, and even pain relievers didn’t work.Started taking quercetin every day along with a regimen of Alkalol nasal wash (daily for a week and then once a week) and steam inhalations with a few drops of oregano and peppermint oils (you don’t even need a steamer, you can just use a pot of boiling water). My sinus infection went away in a couple of weeks completely and when it tried coming back next season I would start the same routine at the first signs of stuffy nose or headache. I took quercetin for about 6 months back then. So far during these 5 years I’ve never had a sinus infection again and now it doesn’t even try to come back seasonally. Moreover, I never got sick for three years straight after taking it.However, as I realized later on, I was taking it for too long, you shouldn’t really be taking it for longer than 1-2 months. After 6 months I was feeling very tired at night. I’m a night owl and can stay up till 2am no problem but suddenly I was falling asleep instantly at 10pm and even in the middle of a text chat, it was really strange, I felt like something was wrong with me, so I stopped taking it. After a while my sleep went back to normal. My son took this for allergies, but it didn’t help him with that. He did stop getting regular colds though and other seasonal viruses. Conclusion: to me this product is magical, but don’t over do it, don’t take it for too long. Also, you need to let it build up in your system over a month or so. Don’t expect sudden relief, it will come to you slowly, but when it does, you will not be able to thank this product enough.

I’ve been using Quercetin as an alternative to antihistamines for chronic urticaria (dermatographic urticaria) for the past two years, on and off. I’ve been prescribed two antihistamines a day, and at a time, three. On some occasions, when Unknown Trigger X occurs, I’ve had to take oral steroids for flare-ups. So, the hives and accompanying itching have been pretty severe! At times though, I cannot take the fatigue that antihistamines (even cetrizine aka zyrtec makes me tired, especially when taken several times a day) cause, so I stop taking them. When I do this, I learned I can switch to quercetin instead. I have found that replacing the antihistamines with 1000 to 1500 mg of quercetin per day is just as effective and doesn’t cause nearly as much drowsiness! I’m also not putting as much stress on my body. With all that said, I’ve tried three or four different brands in the past few years, and this has been my favorite brand thus far. I’ve used Jarrow probiotics with success far, but not other supplements that I can recall. I noticed with this brand of Quercetin, when I took three instead of two, I could literally feel the difference. (Even my facial skin looked slightly different! It looked calmer and less inflamed.)After I finished the bottle, I purchased a different brand that contained vitamin E as well, and immediately regretted it. Although I liked the inclusion of vitamin E, I could tell the quercetin wasn’t as potent, and for now, I’m back to taking my cetrizine.

The items arrived when promised and in good condition. I took one last night in addition to a dose of Bromelain. My reason for taking this is because I hope to end my sinus issues and my physical pain and get some asthma. I know it’s not the best idea to write a review of a supplement after only two doses but I’m doing so because I already feel improvement. My sinuses aren’t as swollen, I’m breathing easier (both nasal and lungs) and my body has less pain and feels more relaxed. I have noticed drainage, possibly because my sinuses are less swollen. My mind is the clearest it’s been in years–goodbye fog. I’m very excited to see what will happen as I continue to take this and I hope to update my review in a couple of months.I have suffered from allergies, asthma and sinusitis for years, have tried all the usual suspects but never get full relief. I also have arthritis and fibromyalgia. If this and the Quercetin does as much for me as it has for the other people commenting here then it will be nothing short of a life transformation. Since I’m already experiencing positive changes, I’m very happy.

I was really hoping and praying this would work. I have severe eczema and my naturopath told me to try this. It was my last ditch effort to cure my skin issues after every kind of steroid and antihistamine didn’t work. Unfortunately, it did not work for me after 6 weeks of use.

This product is good and very helpful but they sent me short dated product this time it’s almost the end of Feb and this is only good until May of this year so that is super annoying and you cannot return or exchange. I hope I can use it all by then. That’s not cool really for 100 capsules.
