I have been impressed with this product for a number of reasons:- Taste: I was initially hesitant to order an unflavored protein powder – especially one that mentions it might be “less smooth tasting” due to the hydrolyzed why component – but I was pleased to find the taste was almost neutral, if slightly reminiscent of Mozzarella.- Mixability: AMAZING! A full scoop, which is quite substantial, mixes very easily and quickly into as little as 4oz of water (as suggested on the label! I still didn’t believe it when I read it and looked at the scoop size). However, it does not mix -perfectly-, as there is a consistent teensy granular residue left on the inside of whatever container I use. That said, the only protein powders I have seen mix -perfectly- used quite a bit of fat and/or soy lecithin as emulsifiers. It’s unsurprising that this doesn’t dissolve completely, is what I’m getting at.- Nutrition: OFF THA CHAIN. WHAT. 27g OF PROTEIN FOR 113 CALORIES? THAT’S NOT JUST CRAZY, THAT’S CRAZY SAUCE. THEN YOU HAVE TO TAKE THAT SAUCE AND BOIL IT TO REMOVE WATER SO IT BECOMES A CRAZY REDUCTION. YOU CAN THEN DRIZZLE THAT CRAZY REDUCTION AS A GLAZE ONTO YOUR MUSCLES. Also, it has very low fat! 0.3g per serving! Fantastic.- Digestibility: As someone who typically gets gas and bloating from dairy, I can report that I get zero such issues with this product.- Functionality: Very high! I drink one serving in 4oz of water at night, immediately prior to bed, to stay anabolic throughout the night. I also use it for my post-workout shake!- Affordability: This is easily the most expensive jar of protein mix I have purchased, but the number of servings and the quality and ratio of ingredients make it perfectly justified. It really just is a big jar of quality, source-traceable, well-balanced protein. It’s exactly the kind of thing I never knew I wished existed. This powder adds almost no flavor whatsoever, so you have a pretty blank slate to work with. Also, given that it has almost no fat, it is a very light and watery substance when mixed. I like to use 12oz of water and add cacao powder, maca powder, hemp oil, and coconut sugar (2 tbsp / 1tbsp / 1tbsp / 1 tbsp, respectively) to the mix to give it a nice, thick, creamy, nutty flavor and texture. (Of course, that also adds about 400 calories, but, eh.)If you’re relatively serious about nutrition or bodybuilding, I strongly recommend this. It’s the perfect protein mix for building lean muscle.

I’m 41 and have been using protein powders for over 20 years. I initially started in high school and college to supplement my workouts for football, and then continued over the years. I have used a lot of different protein (EAS, Optimum, etc.) powders and all had different positives and negatives (taste, quality, fake sugars, poor blend of different proteins, etc.). I have finally found the perfect one.Musclefeast Premium has a great blend of slow to fast absorbing proteins all made with high quality ingredients. This blend is good for virtually any time. I use it for my breakfast shake (kale, spinach, chia seeds, Eat Green Tea, and berries), along with using it for my small before workout shake and after workout shake.I also like that they let you order it without any flavors, sugar, fake sugar, etc. and it doesn’t taste horrible without all the added stuff. It doesn’t taste awesome plain, but it’s drinkable. Mix in a few berries or add some pure vanilla or cocao and it’s very drinkable, even enjoyable with little added calories. The quality of the product was enough for me to try it, but what really sold me was the company’s honesty:”Warning: Due to 1/3 of this product coming from our hydrolyzed whey, this product is not as smooth tasting as our whey proteins and you may pick up bitter notes. If taste is critical for you, this may not be the best choice for you.”That was on their webiste. I like how upfront they were and how they didn’t just try to slide this by you.I won’t be buying any other protein other than Musclefeast going forward.

As a fitness enthusiast who actually cares what goes into his body, I’m always on the lookout for protein powders that aren’t poisoned with artificial sweeteners. I’m especially interested in brands that offer flavors other than the same old chocolate, vanilla, and (sometimes) strawberry churned out by the mindless major supplement companies. I ran across this item on Amazon by pure chance and decided to try the cappuccino flavor. Turned out to be an excellent choice! The powder mixes well; it has a nice, light, creamy coffee flavor (not unlike melted coffee ice cream); and I detected no bitterness at all, despite the disclaimer on the label. Between the all-natural ingredients, the spectacular nutritional profile, and the great taste, I believe I may have found a new favorite. Highly recommended!

I was looking for a protein blend (whey, casein, and albumin) that didn’t have all the artificial sweeteners and other fillers that many of the big name brands have. This came up as the closet to that (no albumin), and so it was. I have bought several tubs now and the quality is consistent. Even plain by itself, it is easy to mix and drink.I just make my own shakes, and for me my favorite combo post workout is: 2 scoops of this, 7g of organic cacao powder, 24g dextrose, 12oz of almond milk (homemade). Post workout, this is a tasty chocolate shake that helps recovery and digests great.

I wanted to love this stuff, but, there was two main issues for me.Good: Price/serving (just over $1.00), minimal ingredient list, protein blend, BCAA content, chocolate flavorBad: Didn’t sit well with my digestive system, too strong of a stevia taste for me to likeI wanted to really like this stuff because of the minimal ingredient list, bcaas, and good price. The CHOCOLATE flavor is good, but I tasted too much stevia sweetener. It seems to mix good, but will begin to separate within a few minutes after blending. That isn’t a big deal for me there were other reasons that I didn’t really care for it after using 2lbs of it. First, this particular protein did not sit well with my digestive system. I just switched back to whey proteins (for several reasons) after trying many more expensive plant based proteins. I never had any stomach issues with those. Plant proteins are usually more $ for the same amount (or less). Compared to whey proteins, most don’t have a good BCAA content, and they are generally lower protein/volume. I’m not sure what made it not sit well with my digestive system, so I’m not sure if trying the unflavored version would help or not. But that also wouldn’t be sweetened and is still available in a protein blend, so those are a plus for me.

There are painfully few companies that cater to the knowledgeable, hardcore set as their first priority, and their numbers dwindle each year. To the best of my knowledge, Muscle Feast doesn’t even produce a single product that caters to the “if it don’t taste like cheesecake and if it’s not the official protein of the UFC, it’s disgusting and cheap” marketing victims that know only what supplement companies have told them about nutrition and are more concerned with packaging and taste. Read the overwhelming majority of reviews of other companies’ protein products: “TASTES GREAT! BEST PROTEIN EVAR!!!111!1”, “TUB LOOKS GREAT! I’VE GOTTEN A LOT OF COMMENTS ON IT! BEST PROTEIN EVAR!!!111!1” lol…Muscle Feast = no artificial anything. Muscle Feast Proteins = the highest gram to gram ratio of what you’re actually buying the product for — the proteins. This Premium blend is no different and is, from here on out, going to be the only protein supplement I will be using (I formerly used their whey isolate and micellar casein at different times during the day, but the bigger I get the better I react to blends as opposed to single protein sources). Further, I use the unflavored version and think it tastes wonderful. Tastes like a super mild cheese.Don’t change a thing, Muscle Feast — except for maybe the price ;)A+

As I learn more about protein and try more and more products the better ones are beginning to stand out. This product is one that stands out. Basically I’m looking for 4 things….a quality protein blend, a clean product (as little additives, fillers, artificial sweeteners as possible) mix ability and taste. This product offers 83% protein per serving using hydrolyzed whey, whey isolate and micellar casein and is lightly sweetened with cane sugar and stevia. So far so great! The taste is subtle with the chocolate with an underlying sweetness not over the top like a fast food milkshake. The only drawback on this powder for me is that it doesn’t mix completely with a shaker bottle. I’m slightly picky and don’t like to drink even the smallest of clumps. I haven’t tried in a blender so maybe that would work out fine. Overall a high quality product, especially if you’re trying to go with a clean protein blend.

I purchased this after a lot of research. The blended protein I’ve used for years, and loved, changed it’s formula so I had to find something to replace it.After looking at a lot of products and reviews, I felt like this blended protein offered the best, natural nutrition. That’s why I bought it, that’s why I will probably buy it again. That being said, it is not the best tasting stuff out there and it does not dissolve as well as I would like. The vanilla doesn’t really have a vanilla taste and the taste it does have is, well, not terrible, but certainly not good. As for mixing…while it may work in a blender, I want something that will dissolve using a spoon and this only gets part of the way there.Bottom line: It’s not perfect but I haven’t found anything better, so at this point, I would buy it again.***Update***Well I said I would buy it again, and I have!I got used to the taste and don’t even notice anything now. I’ve also purchased in chocolate and really like it as well. I still wish it mixed better with a spoon. With an immersion blender, this stuff is perfect. I don’t have any shakers, so I can’t comment on how it works with them.As for results, this seems to do the trick well. I’m not a body builder although I do work out 5 -6 times a week and this is great as an after workout as well as my bedtime drink. The more I use it the more I appreciate the fact that it is all natural and that there is no garbage in the container.Bottom line remains the same. I think it’s the best protein out there and I just wanted to update before making my 3rd purchase.

All i can say is WOW !!!!! and two thumbs up over and over again. Finally we have a manufacturer who is llistening to the dire needs of the consumer. We have begged and pleaded over and over again for a real. product with no artificial flavorings and nasty unhealthy additives and Muscle Feast is the ONLY company that delivers (and that’s a fact). For decades i have prided myself with MetRx and ON. This time around i have to speak up. Forget any other protein supplements. THIS IS IT !!! Tried it for the first time and started feeling warmth in my sore overworked muscles within fifteen minutes, with the soreness significantly better in one to two hours after lying down. Got up to read the labels and what they proclaim is actually true word for word. Kudos for all the research and homework that went down to development of the product. The price is worth every cent of it if you really value you health and all the effort you put into your workout. Read a bunch of the reviews and it’s impossible for all of us to be wrong. I pray they don’t join the band wagon and ruin the only great protein supplement with any additives and adulterants.Make sure you read the label to get a clear understanding of it was made and how it works. REPEAT; THIS THE ONE AND ONLY, THE BEST ENGINEERED ALL NATURAL PROTEIN SUPLLEMENT YOU WILL EVER NEED. EVER !!!!!!!

This powder used to be great. When they changed the packaging, they also changed the formula. It’s now EXTREMELY powdery, such that every time you open the bag or scoop it, protein dust flies into the air, all over the counter, and into your lungs. So yeah… not great.
