I’ve been using Doterra and Now Foods brand essential oils for many years. I use peppermint almost weekly because it heals muscles so fast! I bring the bottle with me during long hiking trips and rub on my feet each night. If I strain my lower back at work I rub some on that area and PRESTO, blood rushes to the site. More blood flow equals faster recovery. On a side note, I recently tried a random no name brand of peppermint oil off Amazon and its weak AF. Normally I only need about 5 drops of Now Foods. With the other brand even 1ml (About a full dropper tube) didnt have as strong an effect as 5-10 drops of Now Foods peppermint oil! So watch out…All those Chinese knock off brands are likely diluting their product with other carrier oils. I’ll be sticking with the brands I know work from now on.

I use this to keeps squirrels out of my attic. I saturate cotton balls and scatter them all around the attic. I refresh them every month and it does the trick as critters don’t like the smell of peppermint. Smells great too. You get a better deal with the 4oz version though.

I make my own cleaning solutions, and adding this peppermint oil makes my home smell amazing! I wish I had purchased this sooner. I bought it because I was fed up with the ants this summer, and I’ve heard that they’re not big fans of peppermint. But forget the ants (they did leave FYI)… I’m getting this now on because I love it! I combine about 15 drops of it with a 2:1 ratio of water to rubbing alcohol and a small dribble of Dr. Bronners peppermint soap in a 16oz spray bottle. I use it to clean my kitchen, and it cuts the oil and grease on my stove really well – while also making everything smell fresh, crisp, and clean.

Excellent quality. One drop in some filter water and this is an excellent mouth rinse. There are all the warnings about not using these oils internally. But imho if we can eat red dye #40 and sodium benzoate how is one drop of peppermint oil going make us grow that 3rd eye?Plus don’t the put this stuff in toothpaste too? So that’s ok?We live on the edge and use it for oral hygiene. We do rotate with lavender oil and the change up with lemon oil. Works for us.If we find out or experience any adverse effects will post here. But with all that being said each person is different so may not hurt to consult a professional if you want to be on the safe side.

I enjoy the peppermint smell and price isn’t bad for being organic.

I have a photography studio in a room in a large 60+ year old shed in the back of my property. It often gets a musty smell. It also shares a wall with my husbands workshop which smells of wood shavings and gasoline as well as a plethora of other odors! Needless to say, it tends on not having a welcoming smell! We also tend to have seasonal field mice who tend to want to live there in the fall and winter. I have read that this is a natural mice deterrent so thought I could get double benefits, to try to improve the odor while deterring the mice. I put some oil on cotton balls which was easy to do with the plastic insert in the top so it did not all pour out. I put them in the corners of the room, and re-placed them every 3-6 weeks. I have done this for at least 4 months now so it’s given me a bit of insight.Pro’s:*The studio did start smelling much better and fresher. I was not worried when I had a client coming over.Con’s:*The fresh peppermint smell varied based on how recently I put out new cotton balls. Sometimes it was a bit strong, and other times it was not as noticable. While I would have preferred it to be more consistent and to last longer I can understand there are limitations so did not take away a star for this.*I don’t think it worked as well on the mice as I would have hoped, as I still found signs of them being in residence. Perhaps I needed to refresh the cotton balls more often? I will try this next fall.In general I am satisfied, yet not thrilled. I will continue to search for a better natural mice deterent.

Despite the cost consistently rising, I faithfully purchased this brand of peppermint oil for its strength and reliability. Unfortunately I tried a more reasonably priced brand, and the aroma was toxic. It filled the air and my lungs with fumes, bordering on the scent of burnt rubber. Therefore, the now organic brand of essential peppermint oil is the only peppermint oil I purchase. But I will not deny the price is a killer.

I’ve been using the peppermint in my bath, in my laundry (to scent unscented detergent) and on my face and scalp. As a woman over 40 I’m always looking for tricks to improve my skin and keep it healthy looking. This has become one of them. I use it this way once or twice a week. Although I’ve never seen anyone advise on using Peppermint oil on the face, I have found that a tiny drop mixed with jojoba oil or grapeseed oil revitalizes my skin. When I wake up in the morning my skin seems to have a glow, and looks a little plumper too.

I normally always try to get Organic things and since I was almost out I’d try it. I always purchased NOW essential oils and when I got this one I was very very disappointed. It’s nowhere near the peppermint smell as the other. Not sure if it’s a different brand with the NOW label or what but it’s definitely not like the other. Won’t be purchasing the Organic one anymore.

Although i prefer a slightly sweeter peppermint scent, this one smells best of all the peppermint oils i have tried. Can kinda smell the actual scent of the fresh herb in it! nice consistency. Will make for a decent toothpaste flavor, as well as a good scent to add to my locket diffuser.update: made toothpaste with it (2tbsp coconut/1tbsp xylitol/10 drops of this oil – recipe from scratch mommy site). it smelled good but, turns out it is not very strong for i could not taste nor feel much peppermint with using 10 drops (probably was more like 13-15 because dropper thing in bottle worked badly and would double drip and not drip at times)
