I was looking for good quality herbs to make DIY Herb tea mix. I’m glad I found on Amazon. It came in fast and the herb was fresh and good quality and the price wasn’t bad either. It will be a while for me to use up all the herbs, but I will sure to remember that Amazon sends fresh herbs not like stuff that remained in the stock for too long. Good place to buy herb tea material – Amazon. I will remember that. Good purchase.

The product smells grassy before it is steeped, but 1 1/2 teaspoons per cup of water gives a nice light lemony tea. The package contained evenly cut leaf, barely a bit of leaf dust (which I get when I dry my own herbs also), and filled just over 8 1/2 quart jars. I keep a pint jar with a plastic lid for each of my herb teas to keep in the cabinet with the cups, and seal quart jars of herbs for the pantry, labeling all with tape including the name, how much to use and time to steep. (Lemon Balm Tea, 1 1/2 t/cup, 10 min) Remember that this herb is anti-viral (helps against viruses) and is know to lower blood pressure and is calming. You can also use in cooking. Very happy with this product and will continue to buy until I get a good stand of Lemon Balm growing in my herb garden.

In my free time I like to research healthy eating literature. At this time I’m looking into herbs and spices.I am currently reading: “Alchemy of Herbs: Transform Everyday ingredients into Foods and Remedies That Heal”https://www.amazon.com/Alchemy-Herbs-Transform-Everyday-Ingredients-ebook/dp/B01N6ZZPU3/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1507956293&sr=1-1&keywords=Alchemy+of+herbsAnd after I read the chapter on Artichoke (leaves in particular) I was very impressed w its ability to improve leaver health (detoxifies the liver), improves the entire digestive process by helping produce slaiva, digestive ensymes, detoxifies liver, stimulates production of bile, prevents constipation, lowers bad cholesterol. It also lowers high blood pressure and improves heart health. This is just a one phrase summary. The book offers more detail and is better written. Long story short is after I read the chapter I immediately ordered the leaves online. The book says the tea is bitter and what I bought online has a first hint of artichoke flower (the vegetable) taste after which is just very bitter. So it is exactly like the book says.I saw a customer complain that it includes stems in addition to the leaf. I would say that’s normal for all loose teas. If you buy tea bags it’s all finely grounded and you are clueless to what the content is. All my life I’ve consumed loose leaves tea and it always contains stems as well. No problem. The tea is packaged & labeled very neatly. The bag is a zip bag.I am really satisfied with what I have received today!

Taste great in blend. Not the strongest flavor but good to taste up your teas

The flavor was so amazing! I will never be without this herb!

The tea is a loose tea, but has been ground to a powder. There are no apparent stems, which is nice. But the tea is too fine to use in a steeper and gets into the tea itself. For some reason, the tea smells like feet when steeped. I’m not sure if it is off, or what. The smell, along with the suspicion that it is rotten or has something in it, makes it undrinkable. A waste of money. Also, it’s not returnable. So, I feel ripped off.

I really like the flavor of tea made with these loose lemon balm leaves. It’s far better to me than the lemon balm tea bags I’ve tried. Also, the texture of the dry leaves is great…no big pieces and perfect for putting in a spoon made for making tea with loose leaves. A pound will take me a long way, but when needed I’ll purchase these again without hesitation. Thank you for a great product!

Good quality, but I wish it was a bit more in tact. The particulate is so fine it falls straight through my glass tea strainer.

This lemon balm was wonderful! So much better and more flavorful, fresher than the Frontier lemon balm I had before. This was around the same price and had a ziplock bag and such better flavor! I don’t think I’ll be getting Frontier anymore unless Starwest doesn’t offer the herb.
